Yeah agree he is holding a strategic advantage.

The soft tyres last about 8 laps and only have 3 fast ones in them.

Sure, those softs wont last very long but they always manage to eke out a few more laps once track rubbers in properly. Guys were doing 13-14 laps on them in practice, just at a terrible pace. They always seem to make a step and improve deg by race day, looking fwd to finding out how much.

I've lost on the last 2 races so hoping i get it right this time to some extent!

Kravitz just saying Pirrelli have advised teams starting on softs not to attempt to complete race on one set of mediums as it wont be safe.

Which would see everyone, maybe including Webber and Grojean, changing to softs in last 10 laps id guess.

Looking like mediums can do 50 laps
And with softs can do 10-12 with less fuel

As long as webber can keep in top 4 at first stops he shoukd lead with clean air others in traffic may have a chance of the win

No. Pirwlli advised no more than 15 laps on softs and 35 laps max on mediums.

Yep, I do mate. Emergency Dept. I usually dont mind being on call but really annoying when that phone rings on race day.

Did anyone get to watch P1 from Abu Dabi?

Just catching the end of a replay of it now.

I generally back Lewis here... based on a drive he had here a few years back that stuck with me strongly. He didnt even finish the race so i doubt anyone else remembers it but I think it was the 2nd year here when he just dominated temmate Button by miles and everyone else by more. He just looked on a whole other level to everyone. And he says every year he feels the track suits his style.

Grosjean was more than second faster as he came up behinjd Kimi in final 20% of race. Kimi defended harder than I think I have seen him defend anyone since his return and went close to putting them both out.

Something he said all self important and arrogant about it sparked me to make that comment though. Cant recall exactly what.

you were watching it live Opti. Practice 2 is at midnight our time.

Both Mercs looked pretty good hey. I was surprised there wasnt the usual gap to the red bulls this time around. I wonder if RB is holding back a little or Merc & Lotus are a little closer here.

Lewis has always done really well here, hoping to find a nice h2h with him but haven't taken anything yet.

Yeah i realised what you were most likely on about when I was watching the race on Monday. I didnt think much of it to be honest and dont see what kimi did wrong at all. Grosjean was always going to get past. His move around the outside seemed pretty clumsy IMO.

I saw reports today that since that incident Kimi almost walked out of the team and wasnt going to race the rest of the year. Sounds like they came to some kind of peace agreement for the final races but might be worth fading kimi? I doubt he will be getting full support from the team here on out.

trust me been there pal, thats what i got my degree in was surgical technology, and moved up to a certified 1st assistant in surgery...mostly did ortho, general and specialized in weight-loss surgery...god i used to work 10 hrs shift (7a-5p) but onmly mon-thurs which was pretty sweet having fri-sun off for the racing weekends and always a 3 day weekend barring any call i had to take or couldn't give away.and of course th call once in a while ..

my sister is home health care RN, which is what im gonna finish up school wise in the next few years

what can i say i LOVE surgery and working in the Operating room, nopne of that stuff bothers me any..plus i enjoy helping people in a small way get better....but til i get me RN i made just as much doing this after i actually started getting smart about it and studied my arse off...so what was the point...only thing i really miss is having health ins. thru the hospital and almost everything paid in case anything ever happend to me...and dental was amazing too which i miss...but luckily never had surgery myself..

.i actually did help remove my woman's gallbladder though when we 1st started dating years ago....was odd to see the inside of her (

) with a camera....
