Margin betting is NEVER a win if its a draw at fulltime, not with any bookie.

Unlucky, it was a good pick anyhow, and should have cashed. I also got done with broncos haltime/fulltime in the same way, but I suppose thats gambling

I feel your pain sportscash, seems like a game the books cleaned up on, not just with the spread but with 1-12 margins and HT/FT's. I hope they end up paying yours out as a win though.

With the way brisbane has been dropping off in the second half lately, I can see Manly running straight through them next week (if they don't already in the first half). Should make for an interesting game.

The Somoa ML might be a good bet, but not going to take it, just took them off the line. This should be a good game though.

Japan have been winless in their past 16 RWC games (1 draw 15 losses). That is the worst record in RWC.

Can't see Manly losing, especially with Brisbane losing their captain and matchwinner Lockyer. Don't think Warriors can pull an upset win over hungry minor premiers Melbourne but I think they can give them a run for their money and keep the game to within 2 converted tries at the very least.

And can't back USA to keep it within the spread, cuz IF (big if) Australia are firing, then there is nothing USA have that can stop them. But that "if" is enough for me to leave it alone.

Here is my analysis.

While we are on the subject of Australia v USA, might as well look into the game in more depth.
Last time these two sides met up in a World cup was way back in 1999 when the Aussies triumphed by 55-19 (points dfference being 36 on the day)

Prior to that was the fllowing outcomes:
1990 Australia 67-9 USA Brisbane
1987 Australia 47-12 Brsbane
1983 Australia 49-3 Sydney

Bear in mind that all three of the above fixtures were played before the modern point structure (try being 3 points at the time) 5 points being implemented in 1992.
