toronto still in it...score td and botch pat, 10-6 at half...i have faith cgy gets it together...but this toronto defense has surprised me and look slick...working on my plays for the other 2 games this weekend...

and with about 2 left and TOR with another 3 points...it looks like i'll be taking a loss here...disappointed in CGY, but impressed with TOR. CGY is not nearly as strong as people think. something odd going on with them.

i find huge value in SK. they upgraded there offense, and improved there O coaches. I believe they have the best offense in the league. even with dline losses, they improved there run defense with barrin simpson, and i really like that secondary with mckenzie out there. throw in the wild atmosphere playing at taylor field, and the fact mtl is a little too overrated and im liking the upset.

SK/MTL OVER +53.5 @1.91 (1x)

in the early games its much harder for defenses to figure out offenses without any game film. both offenses should be #'s 1 and 2 in the league, and with both teams having substantial defensive turnover this offseason i like a thrilling shootout!

CGY -13.0 @1.91(3x)

although i still think cgy has a number of question marks, this argos team is still god awful. cleo lemon!? no thanks. burris will destroy that awful defense. 44-10 cgy.

right now im leaning towards a few things for the 2 remaining games:

i think EDM beats BC. BC has a completely re-done team, and while they may be better in a bit, i think they take a bit of time to get it together. EDM was bad last year on defense, but head coach hall is now calling the defense and he did wonders in sk. i havent seen a solid line yet, so looking towards the spread at -3.0.

im also thinking an under 54.0 in this game. these guys always play eachother well.

in the other game im leaning towards HAM. they were playing well last year, and have improved over the off season. WPG will need some time with an entire new coaching staff and huge changes on both sides of the ball.

plays for remaining 2 CFL games for week 1:

HAM -3.0 @ 1.91(1.5x)

as stated above, WPG has entire new coaching staff, plus major turnover on both sides of the ball. HAM is established and should be improved from last season.

EDM -4.0 @ 1.87(1x)

i like the upgraded EDM squad and beieve the defense will be much improved with richie hall running it. im still not sold on casey printers at qb for bc and since rejoining bc late last season was unimpressive and went 1-4, including his poor performance in the east final.

BC/EDM UNDER 54.0 @ 1.91(1x)

already spoke on EDM's defense, and also like the bc defense. not sold on bc offense yet, and think ricky ray does enough to win a 26-16 game. these teams always play eachother tight.

i was looking at that over too...HAM is really polished. and pierce isnt a bad option at qb for WPG, he should be good for some points. even if he struggles, WPG still has a nasty run game from last year. i think you gave me the push i needed haha. lets do it:
