As far as Swans V Crows is concerned both teams are coming off a loss, the swans did however push St Kilda hard in round one, whilst the Crows were made to look second rate by unfancied Fremantle. Wouldnt be surprised if the confidence gained by the narrow loss to St.Kilda last week combined with the crows current form sees the swans easily cover the +12.5 spread. and wouldnt be at all surprised if the swans win this straight up. Placing 2 units on the swans +12.5 (1.91 or -110 to u northern hemispherians) and 1 unit on swans for victory (currently $2.48 at betfair)...BOL with ur bets...

Yeah nice call there. Adel were terrible against freo although it was to be expected with an injury riddled pre season. I hate freo at the best of times but cashed on the over 39 at $7.20 woohoo. That won't happen again with them lol. Syd should have some confidence today and though they haven't beaten them for a while they haven't been belted either. Going for a small play either team under 15 and syd +25, ess -10 and bulldogs -30 on PYOL. BOL everyone

Sorry guys I'm on Crows -10.5. Sydney have a bad record in Adelaide and Crows are fielding a number of their better players this week. I think Sloane being out is a good thing as he turns the ball over 90% of the time. Kennelly had an aweful game last week for Sydney and looks out of sorts. The key to this game is Goodes, if Crows shut him down they will win this game comfortably.

In most circumstances i would agree 100% with you there hedgy but adelaide obviously is still quite rusty with sydney being in better form. If sydney were to improve on their dismal form against adelaide then i could seldom think of a more opportune time in which for them to break the stranglehold...GL and may the best team win....

Dogs in a canter today. I feel sorry for Richmond. If the dogs were thinking before yesterday we will just go out there a get a win melbs scare to coll changed all that. Dogs will play four qtrs and really hurt them.

Ok guys, looking onto tomorrows (monday) salivating matchup between two of the potential top 4 end of year teams, its hawthorn v geelong:
Hawthorn looked terrific in its season opener against Melbourne and with plenty of big names to resume - will only get better.

Top flight players such as Lance Franklin and Chance Bateman, both back from suspension, start that trend this week, while Cyril Rioli is also a chance to return from a groin injury. His inclusion would add another dimension to the forward pressure applied last week by Campbell Brown and recruit Rhan Hooper. Down back, the Hawks’ defence looked settled for the first time in more than a year. That allowed Luke Hodge a greater influence further afield.

Geelong began slow against the Bombers before running out its match surprisingly well. The reigning premiers finished with a head of steam as their top-shelf went into overdrive to set up the 31-point victory.

The Cats are close to full strength despite missing a couple of smaller forwards who might usually get a game. Players such as Paul Chapman, Steve Johnson and the ever-improving Shannon Byrnes all looked in great nick in round one.

But while their attacking influence will be important, one suspects the stopping jobs by Matthew Scarlett and Harry Taylor - on Franklin and Roughead - on the defensive end may be more key to the outcome.

In conclusion there’s no doubting Hawthorn has the weaponry to win. On their day, the Hawks are perhaps the most dangerous team in the competition. But the big question is just how much action will Franklin and Roughead see against one the best backlines of the past decade? One can expect another ripping contest between these two rivals and a hard fought contest to be had and its for this reason my pick is 2 units on Hawthorn +13 with half a unit on hawthorn for the win paying $2.45....BOL with ur plays guys

Nice pick up there camel. I was on two of them just the freo game couldn't pull the trigger but doesn't matter still a good day. Took the dogs over 70 on pyol which ended the day nicely only just though but how many do we just miss as well hey

I was thinking the Over is the most likely play today. Geelong scoring 125 and Hawthorn scoring 117 last week are pretty big numbers. Both teams can score and score lots. A final of 102-90 or something like that is definitely a plausible outcome... but I'll more expect a 115-105 type of finale. TAB has the O187.5 at 1.75. Usually that means it's going to hit.

I would have much preferred we were on the same side but with how the Cats are kicking my confidence is definitely not the highest for the Over. I also played the Cats-11.5 and their kicking is the only stopping them from being close right now. I can't believe how rotten their accuracy is.

Amazing day had 3 bets today. Got mauled in the nrl, took Geelong -11.5 and the last bet under 190.5. Half a point but what can u do hey. Think I'll lay low for the week and get ready for Friday night.
