I'm beginning to slowly work my way back to normal.... but still feeling rather fatigued throughout the day.. Fell asleep at 4am and up at 11 today so that's a bit of an improvement. I've never had it this tough tho... when I first went to Australia I got in around 11 in the morning, slept until 6 at night, went out for a bit (was at Bond Uni) back at midnight fell asleep right away and everything felt normal the next day.
All I know is that I'm happy to be back home.... just the friends I have here are awesome and I find life alot more simple compared to Brisbane. Hungout last night and had some beers while watching hockey then basketball. Tonight me and my little sister are spending the night then tomorrow my ex (break up was about 4 years ago) and we had been together 3 years is coming over for our old time beer and pizza type nights. I haven't seen her in about 2 1/2 years so it's going to be interesting. No clue what's going to happen or how it's going to go over but certainly excited. We had so much together and basically it was when I developed a gambling addiction (online poker) that I began to change in detrimental ways.... short temper, only wanted to play poker, angrier, didn't spend as much time with her (when we did I still only wanted to play poker), didn't go out much, didn't have much money, etc. etc. etc. I often wonder about what could have been. We got along so damn well and when I went to visit her at her dorm we could spend the days just me and her and were never bored.
So after that huge story everyone probably wonders if I want to get back with her..... never really thought of it actually, but with how our relationship ended I doubt our family's would ever be supportive.Comment -
I'm just glad you are in a better place right now than back in Australia. We all know how addicting gambling can be and how adversely it affects our lives and the people around us, but we put on blinders and gamble anyways because the thrill it gives us. Hard to say that gambling will be a positive force in most of our lives (definitely not mine; I still shut people out and have mood swings when I lose), but I've reduced its negativity by gaming only for recreational purposes. I know it's not a get-rich scheme, or else there wouldn't be so many bookies and casinos out there ready to take our action.
As for meeting up with your ex, it is a good spot to start anew. Who knows...lessons learned from the past may actually make your relationship with her stronger than ever. I wish you all the best.

TIGERS v ROOSTERS: Tigers at Campbelltown are just TOO HOT TO TROT..Should be a high scoring game, but I think TIGERS will have to many players that can turn this game anytime. Over/Under set at 46.5pts which makes me want to stay away from this option,eventhough as I said this has the makings of a high scoring game.

SOUTHS v MANLY: On paper this game may appear all over but Souths seem to produce something each game. I don't like to follow teams that back up after the Monday night game, but Manly did lose a game they should've won last week so I think they will even more motivated for a big start.
