                                                                                        The start to the AFL season has been very tough. A lot of upsets have occurred and it has been incredibly tough reading into the form of a lot of teams.

                                                                                        There really isn't anything jumping out at me this week so far, will wait for the teams to come out, continue to cap the games.

                                                                                            Nothing really jumping out at me this week in terms of early value. The way I see it, if you are in front at this stage of the season, you have either capped really well, or been extremely lucky (or both)! It has bee such a tough start to the year in terms of upsets and results.

Melbourne have been decent the last 3 weeks and I don't really rate the Crows... Lost to some good sides, beaten some pretty average sides. Not sure what to make of them, but GL.

                                                                                                                    Swans -30.5 looks really good. I don't care that it's at the Gabba. Also take Swannies 2H that game probably whatever the line. Brisbane haven't covered a 2H (or even a 3rd or 4th qtr) this season and I've been riding whoever they play 2H I think on every game this year (I may have missed the Cats game) - I took Hawks -25.5 2H in the first game of the year and when I saw Brisbane fall away, I've been riding that.

                                                                                                                        This is why this week is not very exciting... A lot of big lines. Crows will be your classic down hill skiing team. Beat up on the weaker teams, lose to anyone better than them.

                                                                                                                        Swans line is enticing, I agree, but I want to see the team Brisbane put out first.

                                                                                                                            You could well be right mate... Crows do seem like that kind of team.

                                                                                                                            Melbourne have looked good defensively of late and have been strangling teams into not scoring a lot. That's why I don't like the 39.5. Whilst they have had a weak strength of schedule, they have only conceded on average 65 points per game. By comparison, Hawks, Cats and Pies are also at 65. Crows are pretty poor defensively and Melb could actually kick a few. Just my 2c. I know you're already on it and GL. I will be staying away.
