Up another 6 units tonight, hopefully this run continues. That was my first SC loss, Hannebury was tagged and Judd was allowed to run free, I didn't see that coming

Pies are coming off a bye and Port had a hard struggle in poor conditions against the Swans. So long as Collingwood are ready to go after the break this should be an easy win

Shame GC fell away in the last quarter but still picked up the over for a 2 unit profit. Now onto Collingwood

I think Hawks will bring the Lions back down to earth today after their amazing comeback against the Cats last weekend. The Hawks have had some big wins against the Lions in recent years and I'm liking them to cover today, particularly up to half time.
Hawks 1st Qrt -10.5 - 3 units
Hawks 1st Half -20.5 - 3 units
Hawks -42.5 - 1 unit

I know I'm a one-eyed saints man but is it just me or is -59.5 for Freo just crazy?? I will pound that line if it stays like that, Freo do not smash teams (apart from Melbourne), they are about restricting teams and getting the job done. This is why the total is set at 156, that's the sort of total you see for wet weather games. Saints have had a poor year, I get that but they will not lose by 60 points, I'm tipping about 30-40

I agree johno, but I think I prefer the 1H line (maybe) and the under (will def play). Saints have been seriously crumbling after half time game after game, and they just don't have the right players right now to fight hard for a full game.
They struggle to score at the best of times, against Freo it will be near impossible to crack 50. Does Freo score 110 or so? I also doubt it - Saints defense is one of the few things left going for them.
Keep in mind this Freo team kept north to 29 points - for a whole game in dry weather.

Johno dont go too heavy on the Saints, I don't necessarily think Freo are going to win by 60 but it definitely can happen. With the injection of players Freo is running around at full strength and you can get positives and negatives from the situation. Negatives being they havent played together all season and will be rusty - the positives being that their forward line is looking the best it has all year...With Roo out of the side can the Saints score enough? The Dockers have lots of threats forward now for the Saints to worry about that come in all sizes - I expect to see Sandi get time in the forward line as well.

That North game was actually a wet game, it bucketed down the whole first quarter and made conditions very tough.
The key in this game is for the saints to go man on man, don't allow Freo to have a loose man in defence (Ibbotson) and see if they can win the midfield battle. The saints have been good in the clearances the last couple of games so hopefully that continues

Yeah they do have big ins and that is a concern, Roo out but getting Hayes back is huge for morale, I hope I'm right

I hope so too, I won't be playing the game simply just enjoying and hoping Freo get out of the game without any injuries and that Pav/Sandi get some nice game time before the derby. Good luck pal!
