Hey Mike,

2. Do I have to pick my picks all at the beginning or can I pick them race to race?

The points aren't really worth much.Maybe 5-10 times a year they have points tourneys where you win cash tokens to play in the $$$ tournaments.

You can put picks in race by race but I put my picks in all beforehand and then re-evaluate race by race.Don't try to change picks with less than 15-20 seconds on the counter or you may get shutout due to lag.

Hard to go against the Midwest/J Ness trained 2-Custer at 7-2 but the favorite 3-Bluegrass Type 5-2 seems like he doesn't like to win and hits the brakes in the stretch so I'll try to beat him.The 9-Strange Overtones 4-1 has some of the best figures in the field and has progressed steadily with each run.The long shot to use is 7-Bid's Reward 15-1 who has been closing strong without emptying the tank and adds blinkers so may be closer.If he is among the leaders turning for home I like the chances of him having the best kick.

Looks chalky with the 7,5, and 1 likely to make up the exacta

Exotics are likely to be huge.The 3-1 fave looks no better than the 30-1 bomb.I lean toward the 11-Wilson's Storm at 15-1 who has good figs and some speed to not get hung 5 wide into the first turn.The 3-Dark Ruler 12-1 has a terrible record at Oaklawn but may just have been in over his head throughout and while I'm trying to hit the lotto the 6-Calhoun Stonewall 20-1 comes out of the same race as the 11 which is likely to be discredited because it was a statebred race.Of the shorter prices the one that scares me is the outside drawn 12-Flexnow 6-1 who is a sporadic type but on best would crush these.

Baffert treats these Oaklawn stakes like they are the easy level on Madden.He sends 6-Super Ninety Nine 7-5 where he has been sending a couple horses the past years so he appears confident.10-Big Lute 6-1 got screwed on the draw or I would have possibly liked him on the win end but he is going to have to be used early.4-Texas Bling 12-1 did all the dirty work last race when beaten by some of these.

I should have looked deeper....follow the horse that won....ju ju eyeballs ..if you look back .he raced agaist shanghai bobby. Then he got claimed for 15000...maybe they lost hope and they sold and they found a problem....just worth a mention.
