What could Cohen have done differently? The bad ride was the one on Regal Warrior who was wide the entire trip. If Silvera saved even an inch of ground he would have won.

Cohen hand rode the horse till he reach the top of the stretch, he should have either took the lead or just wait mid pack not 2nd.

I usually play Win bets but as you can see by the odds they are longshots.If you are just starting there are definitely more consistent ways to play.

now mikemca let me ask you something...just bet 20 to show on the 6 paid 6.20 would you be happy making 4-6 plays a day and getting that return.......i think that is super if you could do it all day without that chemical that we release called greed.....pick 4 superfecta the entire payday that is waiting around the block.......lol

Damn I blew the DW contest.Should have had Black Tunic for a capped payout which would have gotten me the 5k for 1st.Horse is a half to Big Brown,was 2nd time turf which is usually a big improvement,and maldanado/bonde are $$$ together.

I liked that one a lot if Starformer didn't fire so I researched the jock who I never heard of A Hamelin.He is from France and was the rider of Sanois who was a pretty good horse.Don't know what he is doing over here or if he is staying but definitely a capable jock.

Mike, very tough to come up with that Black Tunic in that field also dismissed that Antegreen = no name jockey and poor USA specs.

harthebar, take those $6 shows all day! IMHO it is better capping to find a $6 show horse vs a $6 winner and sometimes it is not so clear who will hit the wire first BUT often it is easy to find the one who will be charging late. No shame in show betting, just wish it helped me today - had several wouldacouldas.
