If it was for timing - the bet would have been void ... and the stake returned - it would not be graded as a loss .... I think Lou said a few posts back to get in touch with him if there were time disputed .. for me it was just 3 or 4 points - not worth the trouble - for you - i'd shoot him a message

It's all automatic. You received 9 points for the scratch you had once the race was complete, I have a screenshot of this in my PM box, PM me if you still have an issue.

You bet a regular Exacta, which is betting the horse that will finish in first and second place. You chose a six horse combination, so you actually had multiple horses to place first and second. Your risk was 6 points (1 point per horse) and the payout you received was total 15 points.

There is no system error. If you want to bet more than the 1st and 2nd place outcome, you must choose the Exacta Box option for multiple combinations and higher payouts.

Wrong , the race payout was $26.00 on a $18.00 ticket. Both tickets were winners.

With the scratch each ticket should have been reduced to $12.00 tickets for a profit of $14.00 on each ticket not $9.00

i understand the exacta vs the exacta box option. "exacta box" gives you one box per runner that can come in 1st or 2nd. the "exacta" gives you a box for 1st and a box for 2nd. perfect if i wanted the 1 over the 2/7(one must come first w/2 or 7 finishing 2nd) but if i use the exacta option and check both boxes (1st and 2nd) doesnt that pretty much assure me they're boxed?

Your wager was a few seconds past the scheduled start time, so it was not automatically graded. It has been credited now.

Also, our results feed indicate there were no scratches in Dover Downs R3.

i got that "scratch that wasnt scratched" on my ebetusa account as well as here. half my fault for not paying closer attention to the live feed. i was like, "jt arturo!?!?! wtf!?!?"
no wonder his odds were so high. nobody knew he was in the race to bet $ on him
we'll hafta see if theres some sort of inquiry into the mystery scratch....

i bet on horse that race saw ## said scaratched on your thing at time then after race was over took while for payout i know it was part my fault for not recognizing it but was incorrect that #3 was listed as scratched so no points back on that race?

One problem I noticed is the live racing will be for example race 5 and we can not wager on it because it will show it is past post when they havent ran yet.

yup - the past-post thing is very annoying - had another two wagers (out of two) marked void last night ... how difficult is it to simply not accept anymore wagers three minutes before a race ?

Software is certainly lacking if it does not know when a race is officially "off" what if there is a delay in racing because a horse needs to change a shoe or because a jokey needs to be changed at the last minute - this then throws off the rest of the timings for the rest of the night .. now we have to make our bets 10 or 15 minutes before post time ?

... still a good addition ... but something needs to be done/improved about the voiding of wagers that are clearly placed before the race starts.

The software is the same that feeds Bodog, it's a proven product but occasionally a race will post minutes prior to scheduled time. Races can be hours and hours earlier than scheduled time, and when 60+ minutes out they even show up in the Upcoming Races feed. It's just not a good idea to wait until the last ~5 or so minutes to get a bet down prior to post.

Its a very good idea actually ... I understand its not convenient .. but if you are serious about making money - you should not post your bet until the last possible second - what if your horse breaks through the gate .. then they stick him back in again ? I wouldn't put YOUR money on an odds on favorite that breaks the gate before the "off"




I understand where you are coming from .. however if the system can understand when a bet is placed after the advertised start time ... why can't the system reject that bet instead of accepting it .. and then voiding it at a later time ... ?

Would just lead to less overall frustration .... not a criticism .. just a suggestion ... not even sure if the software has this capability ... I don't remember a bet of mine ever being accepted and then marked void when i played at bodog ... seems to happen about half the time here .... Its my own fault - I just have to learn to change the way I play when placing wagers here at SBR ... old dog .. new tricks and all that ...

Most pros bet when horses are in the gate

It is biggest downfall for offshore racebooks that they lock it out 2 minutes before, they are not hooked into totes like legal usa race books that offer betting online

No pros will ever play there

The major issue is the post times are off on the software. It seems SBR should change race providers and use Carib sports or Jamaica

or simply reject bets that are posted after advertised start times .... its the fact that the bets are accepted and then later voided that is the problem ... if I don't get a bet accepted because the software says its too late - I don't mind so much - I just kick myself for not getting in early enough ... If my bet is accepted and later voided (win or lose) ... now i'm annoyed.
