Crazy Lou this is totally cool. The question is for me is all the tracks going to be included in the country. I live close to a track that a lot of books don't even take bets for. It is Fairmount Park in Collinsville IL.

How long does it take to grade? Were already pushing 20 minutes on an Aqeduct race, which is a major track.

Sometimes grading is like 5 minutes and sometimes like 25 minutes no matter what track

I think not SBR's end though and they have no control over it

I can assure you dgs doesn't take 25 minutes to grade a nyra track. In my case it still isn't graded. The next race went off already.

I had a couple of points on the last race at fairgrounds ... a few seconds later i decided to double up and put another couple of points on the same horse in the same race .... 2 mins after the race - one of the bets has been settled ... 15 mins later - the second is still pending ....

I know it'll get done ... not worried about it ... strange that two identical bets placed around a minute apart could take up to 20 mins (or more) difference in time it is graded ...

No biggie ... just weird.

I don't know if this is the problem. The post time off my race was 2:25. I made my bet and still a good 25 seconds past before the race went off. I watched it on tvg. You go to equibase.com and it says the race went off at 2:24. Races normally don't go off before the listed post time.

In my case I didn't past post but wonder if this is the problem.

Looking back, if a posted start time for a race say is 1:10 PM. Lets say a horse is scratched at the gate, you make your bet at 1:11 because the race is still open on the dgs software and the race goes off at 1:12, you considered that past posting and bets will be voided?

In my case, I bet the race, turned on tvg, the race went off 30 seconds later. My grading was pushed to a past post alert or whatever. It was 35 points but who gives a shit? The lesson learned here is to don't dick around. You are taking your chances if you see 0 or 1 minute to post.

Make the plays as early as possible and if you don't and its held back it is your own fault.

On that note, I do think there is some sort of timing difference between systems which creates a problem. Maybe 3 times out of 8,000 races did they let you bet the race after it went off. When it did happen it was apparant as the race was still up 10 minutes after the post time.

I played the superfecta in the 1st race at Golden Gate , there was a late scratch and was not refunded the difference.

Should have gotten back 6 points on each bet , looks like all I got was 1 point back on each.

I noticed they had the scratches on some tracks but others like in Tampa Bay race 5 they had the scratches as running.

I bet 1 sbr pt race 7 tampa on #4 to place it placed and paid $5.20 at the track i received 1.20 sbr points
I bet 2 pts to win 2 points to place ,,race 10 at tampa on the #8 it won and paid $5.60 -$4.00 total of $9.60 I received 5.60 sbr pts ,,,,what am i missing ,,,thought I would 5.60 in race 7 and 9.60 pts in race 10

sorry I just cant figure the odds its paying

Race 7 at Tampa paid $5.20 for a $2 bet .... or a profit of $2.60 for $2 bet ... you bet one point .. which would have returned 2.30 or 1.30 points profit ...

Race 10 ,,, a $2 bet paid 7.60 profit .... $1 would have been 3.80 + your two back = $5.80 .. seems close - but the rounding is off by 20 cents can you post the tickets here .. copy/paste ...

Yup - they voided my second winning bet ... was placed at least 2 mins before the race went off ...

I do see the problem though ... according to the live feed from the track when i just went to place a wager ... the current time is 7.09 - the same time is being shown on my computer .. the time shown in the racebook software is "Feb-21 07:11P" - the server or the software time/clock is two or three minutes fast .. so all wagers placed anytime up to and including two or three minutes before the "off" are being voided .. someone needs to fix the system time and put it right.

they graded my $2000 pk4 a loser too but i bet it before it went off. they got their time wrong. how do we know we have to bet it 3 minutes before post. what a joke
