6th career start and 2nd off a short layoff with the drop that you mentioned..in start #2 he also dropped and ran 2nd vs better horses..I consider 2nd layoff and 2nd career similar circumstances..off slow in his last start also..possible the 3 might tire @ 6f

couldn't see him @ that ml..looks more like 10 or 12-1 to me but of course that's subjective..that would explain part of it to me but I think letting go off what he did is extreme..shows to me that not everyone is in on everything and just because there's very light action doesn't necessarily mean a horse isn't ready to run a big race

at this oddball 2 mile distance ..has won a steeplechase race at a furlong further than this ..with his terrible recent form I find it interesting that they're trying this again..just a horse I feel might be going off higher than he should
