obvious excuses in her 1st 2 races..now gets a good post on a fast dirt track (should be)..very expensive and 7f should be perfect with a classy sprint sire on top and out of an a.p. indy mare (distance,class)on the bottom..think the public will see the hiddeness and will go off lower

mentioned in str thread that kd horses have fared well in their next starts..ones I was talking about ran well there and followed with huge price wins at major tracks..this one showed some life but that might be enough for this company..showing some speed at bel vs much better in her debut 2 back another indicator this level might work

broke mdn in her 2nd start 3 back and then followed up in 19 days..caught a wide post and did nothing..44 days off and ran 3rd < 1 length off winner
(all 5.5 and 6f races)..back in 19 days again but gets post 5 instead of outside one..had post 5 in the mdn breaker 3 back and a half furlong shorter like today won't be a hindrance based on that running line

6 horses exited races from ky downs..i recently talked to str about a couple of big price horses who had ran there last start


1,11 ..did little running

10 ..big pedigree broke mdn in 2nd career start last out

2,6,8 ..all exit same race with inside two battling close to the pace and finishing <= 2 lengths from the winner ..#8 was a deep closer and was 2nd by a head


going with 2 and 6 who are both dd ml and as i mentioned were up close early in the race..the stretch is forever there so not giving it up bad i consider to be a good effort

things (post class) come together nicely here for the first time since the claim 9 back..three 2nds 3-5 back and they were the first races with blinkers on..2back tried turf?..last race the rail in a 9 horse field wasn't a bad try

makes 3rd career start with first 2 being at Kentucky downs (never easy)..lost debut by a nose breaking from the 12 post at a mile (add that track and it's quite an effort).. start 2 was close to a very fast pace
breaking from the rail and finished 4th by <6.. tough field and I think he'll be higher than ml odds

debut bumped start and ran evenly back of the pack behind a very slow pace.. also it was KD at a mile which makes it that much tougher.. an expensive yearling and trained by one of the best in brad cox who's having a very solid meet.. he improves horses a bunch in start 2
