#562Was away last week, looked rather chalky
Did hit Get Stormy @ $12.00
Today had a $20 winner with Manny Franco and Almost stole the finale @ 19/1
But not much else
Saratoga Thursday
R1…
1 1/16 on the Turf 25k Claimer
Lowest level at the meet here, and I can not get excited about these big droppers. Especially the #4 Bareeqa (3/1) This 6 year old has been around and relevant for a while now & cashed a lot of checks. Irad stays aboard but this one only has one recent win and that was for 16k in Florida. Gargan has 2 in here, and this one placed only if pace completely falls apart. 13k purchase in 2014 made over 320k and would be nice to see , loves the spa (6 3-0-1) but thinking this one close to hanging it up. zero chance I’ll be using.
The #3 Lady Love (8/1) is taking a monster drop from 80k allowance and no thanks.
There isn’t much speed in here at all and the best speed is from Gargan’s other with a top speed rider in Kendrick Carmouche. #2 Amazing Audrey (6/5) is going to the front and the race runs through this 4 year old. Is 1 for 1 over the track as well. Shipping in from indy, but has been in the top 2 last 7 over 6 different tracks. Must Include
The only other speed is the #1 Frozen Hannah (7/2) , this one ships also from indy, off the win in which the race went off the grass and won in the slop. I just question Julien on the rail here with that speed right outside. Should be around for the money tho.
The x Factor who could be sitting the best trip and the biggest threat imo to catch the #2 , is #6 Princess Victoria (8/1). Ships in from Suffolk off the win in the slop. First off the claim for Rudy Rod, but outta Jorge’ Miracle Navarro Barn which I never like to play. Jockey Luis Reyes returns.
I don’t think they can catch the #2 Amazing Audrey
2-6-1
Single the 2
R2…
75k Maiden Sprint going 6
#1 Little Farina (10/1) , Just think I have to use with Manny here. Sprint from the rail he’s going to have to try and break this filly early, if that happens could be very live.
#2 Miss Marissa (8/1) , is going to eat up some money here. Returning to the dirt sprint and ran 2nd in the debut in the mud. I say eat away. PASS
#3 Britiish Idiom (9/2), is another I think will be over bet. Top connections JAvy/Cox, been doing her work in Kentucky, ships up to NY and just can’t get my money at which is surely to be even shorter than this $11 a ticket opener. PASS
#6 Aint None Lucky (6/1) , is very intriguing. Lacey Gaudet is 2 0-2-0 @ this meet, and this one already has 2 starts, including a placing last out on the track , which as you know is very important. Monster upgrade in the CockPit, 17% trainer w/ 2YO’s, and coming off a bullet work over the spa just a few days ago. Must Include
#10 Talk You Out of it (3/1) , Just would be unwise to toss. this 5th time starter is clearly going to be a player.
The rest are a guessing game and I don’t see anything that asks for my money.

#563r3...
80 OC going 7/8ths
#1 uncontested (7/2) , Has to be going through it . This one started the year w/ b2b 100+ beyer's and a G3 Win in Maryland. Since went to KY and went G3 - G1 - to 120k Allowance , getting crushed by 9 13 and 9 . New barn might of came just in time here , w/ Amoss first off the claim and Jose enticed to ride. Got pounded last time out as heavy favorite and spit the bit. The 2 works in NY since are encouraging , but mixed feelings here and $9 a ticket seem too short for me at this point. Either way this 5 year old 20k purchase has made over 400k and put together a nice career.
^side note this one seems to do its best work from the lead and Just by looking at the #2 & #5 , that isn't happening.
#2 Plainsmen (2/1) makes a lot of sense first off the claim but hasn't raced in 8 months. Won 3 in a row , while moving up each time so this does seem like a nice level to come back to. Has been in NY for a while now and owns a bullet over the course. Since the Arky Derby last year, this one really found his stride. Once 350k Purchase that wasn't too far off the Derby scene. Fits and a player off the bench.
#3 No Dozing (9/5), Irad might be a great spot to stalk off the speed in this short field. Beaten Favorite in last 2 , but the big jock upgrade is a huge plus. 1 for 3 over the track and another that'd be remiss to leave off.
Just one of those races in the middle of the early horizontal that so far you'll be stretching out with short prices.
#4 Tale of Silence (5/2) , This one coming outta grade 1 race w/ Mitole and Mckenzie lol. This one just doesn't have that nose for the wire that you like to see. Manny has experience with this one and cashed some big placing tickets in graded stakes. Last time @ the spa was the Allen Jerkens 2 years ago and ran 4th beaten by 3. Like I said tho, unless you gonna wheel this 5 horse field, I gotta look elsewhere. It makes sense that this level those nibbles could and should be wins, but there is tough competition here and that lack of finding the wire , leads to me toss.
#5 Lenstar (12/1) , This one flys outta the gate and zito could be sneaky here. Look if the #2 is effected by that 8 month layoff and doesn't have it tomorrow. This one could wire the field at a huge price and blow up the Horizontal. For that reason only, its a must use. Look the last 9 races have been all a mile plus. So the shortening could be coming at the right time.

50k ** going 7/8ths
#1 Teachable Moment (6/1), Almost Has to be used based on Atras claim #'s and this one coming from Mr. Brown's Barn. 2nd over the track last out and hike up in class.
#4 Magestic West (8/1), This firster is very interesting , might have the goods for the joe sharp.
#5 Sneakiness (7/2) , Mr. Dutrow is making a ton chances to this one here and that merits a long look alone. Strong chance for Him to get his first win @ the meet here. Going back to the dirt, Blinkers come off, & back to 7/8ths. Into the Mischief's been on fire and maybe time this 255k purchase breaks the maiden.
#7 Swick (5/1), Obv didn't like the grass, Player back on the dirt.
#11 Cobble Hill (9/2), Clear contender
#6 Dealin Stelen (20/1), could surprise. Zito has worked this one a ton over the course. Took money in jersey debut and easily could improve off that. 20/1 is being overlooked.Comment -

#576Friday
R1
78k Mdn 1 1/16 on the inner
#1 Mo Ready (PP #6) (5/1), He's making his 3rd start, 2nd over the course. Stretching out for the first time and going dirt to turf, while being beaten favorite in first 2. Meets leading Jock sticks around and Todd does well in this spots. Must include
#3 Maxwell Esquire (6/1), Firster for Clement and Iraq enticed.
#5 Turbo Drive (4/1), Maker has been trying to get this one of the grass since June. Think this is finally his best conditions to show his stuff, comes in focused on business w/ the blinkers on.
#7 Inside Info (6/1), This firster was a big purchase price, and like the recent gate work. Weaver and Manny team up here on a very live debut.
#8 Cold Hard Cash (6/1), not excited about leaving Linda off here , going dirt to turf and stretching out w/ lezcano piloting , but depending on how this card plays out, its looking that way.Comment -

#577R2..
75k Claiming going 7/8ths.
#1 Family Biz (8/1), fits well here. Barker is excellent off the bench, is 1 0-1-0 at the spa. Dylan has been aboard for both wins. 2 1-0-0 at this distance and is shortening for the first time in a while, smart move off the pine. Draw a line through the last race and could contend here.
#4 Olympic Village (4/1), off the 8 month layoff, but won last 2. Shipping up from maryland is strong positive here, as surely there are softer spots. JAvy gets the nod and did get a work over the course along with some encouraging works @ the fai.
#5 Walkoff (5/2), is chalk im going to toss. Its just encouraging pletcher dropping in this young'in back in for the tag after only starting in the M C ranks.
#6 Dunph (7/2) , big class relief but the form just isn't there for me.
#7 Johny's Bobby (9/2), this one intrigues me. Shipping in from Churchill and Bauer is 8 2-1-0 this meet. Julien is ice cold and just doesn't do where here, but does have a 2nd on this one here way back in the form and will be picking 'em late.Comment -

90k Maiden going 1 3/16 on the grass
#1 Value Engineering (9/5), Brown / Javy remiss to leave out
#4 Bail out (3/1), Blew the break in last and finished very gamely 2nd here at the beginning of the meet. This one just does not have a nose for the wire, loves the come up just shy.
#6 SHeenan (7/2), obv player 2nd time in the states.
#7 Overbold (8/1), Mott/junior, going to the front and there isn't a lot of speed here. also the shortening should help if they are to hold on.Comment -

25k M C going 5.5
ugly race
#6 Tarriluci (9/2) , not an encouraging drop after the claim from 40 to run here.
#7 Wallin Jose (8/1), is a big win bet for me. Drops in class, has a sharp NY work, lead half way around on the turf last out and switches back to preferred surface (love that angle). Also took money last time. The 2 races in February to start career fit here perfect in this weak field.
Some of these big time trainers here are just cleaning house here.
#10 Beans n Rice (12/1), Should keep improving and could complete the exotics.
Going to pound the #7 to win and maybe place
also going to key probablyComment -

62 OC going 6
#1 Tiz He the One (9/2), Another one i like some. Had won 3 in a row before jumping up to that grade 3 race. Linda takes over and keeps in all in the family w/ Jose in the mount. Problem is there is a lot of speed here.
#2 Life in Shambles (5/2), i mean obv player irad and servis, but I tend to try and go a different direction.
#3 Cove Blue (8/1), sneaky shipper for Romans , watch out
#5 Mucho (7/2), makes sense
This race can go in a lot of different directions.Comment -
