good call on good magic..was thinking after the race you have a horse who really is dominant on paper if speed figures mean anything to you. .already has won a big race on an off track and trained by baffert..he's the favorite and what's his name.. hmmm I forget ..oh yeah justify ..always have this mindset get a price in the derby and I understand 20/20 hindsight but you could have made a legitimate case this year to not get too fancy and bet the chalk

#563he's probably going to be 1/5 in the preakness and there will be few challengers..I haven't seen if they made odds on it but I'd guess right now he's 3-2 or less to win the tc..if you happen to come across it let me knowComment -

#564Didnāt get a chance to post my plays today..... post it Hartās thread on what I liked.... anyways, for The Kentucky Derby
Race 12: 6- Good Magic (ML 12-1) 2nd, paid $9.20
The One million dollar colt, he closed out his 2 year campaign with a triple digit Breyer. His first race back was a little short, then improved next out to win the Bluegrass. I have to think that third start off layoff will make him even better and back to triple digit Beyers again. He is by Curlin (Smart Strike) out of Glinda the Good (Hard Spun), I would think the distance and the sloppy track shouldnāt be a problem. I like his tactical style and he should be sitting just behind Justify and follow him and wait to get the jump on him turn for home. At 12-1, I think itās worth a few dollars. GL all

#569Not sure what to make of it in Race 8. Cuz I am not sure if the 4 finished with a good closing kick or the 3 got tired at the end. The 3 set some crazy fractions for this distance. He went 25, 45 and 1:09 for the first 6 furlongs. And the 3 almost pull it off. He should be a horse to watch for next out.Comment -

#5725 pulled even at the top of stretch, then couldnāt keep up at the end, almost get second. Like I said, I donāt know what to make of race 8 if you are referring to the no 4-Speaker. I definitely think he has a chance to to win. But the racing dynamics is totally different for this 1 mile turf. To me, the reason I chose the 3 in race 1 was that going long from 1 mile to 1 1/8 in a race that the 3 could be the lone speed and his odds were good enough for me to take a shot. But he just set too fast of fractions for this group level IMO. But he almost lasted at the end and didnāt give up whic is a good sign to me. As for race 8, there are too many closers and not sure what kind of pace we will get. Tough race to cap. GL to you, I will have the 4 and 6 and 7 as well in my pick 3/4ās.Comment -

nope.. they claim the winner for 50k two back.and try vs straight maidens bringing him back in a week.. does nothing and they're ready to give him up for 20k this race.. winners share about 11k so they really take a loss if he's claimed and wins.. don't know if he wasComment -

#584one that I like that you left out is R5 #8 secret offer (5-2) ...get the 0/29 trainer as not a positive but I'm actually glad he's bad cause otherwise she'd be too low.. that type of gradual fade line vs msw on the turf I find translates well when they drop.. it's a modest, speed oriented pedigree and drop itself doesn't bother me...working very solid coming up to the raceComment -

#588With all these bad weathers around the major tracks, I am gonna have one play from Santa Anita which the DRF Race of the Day
SA
Race 5: 7- Move Over (ML 7-2)
Race 5: 3- Giddymeister (ML 20-1)
This race is very interesting because the ML favorite is the 1- Armor Plate which is coming off of a almost 6 months layoff with the inside post. Looks to me he may try to go to the lead from that post, but there are quite a few front runners in this race. None of them seems to be reliable to go wire to wire. I am expecting the pace to be fast and collapse. If this happens, the 7- Move Over seems to be the logical choice. He has the class and the experiences on turf. However, I am not a 100% sold on his ability to close on time. I think he prefers a little more distance like a mile. This is why I am also take a chance on the 3- Giddymeister. He is bred for turf and I like the way he closed on his last race which is his first start and be able to close and win by 2 lengths. Although his Beyer is a little weak @ 65, but with this group, it's not totally out of reach. If he improves in his 2nd start and upgrade to turf surface, I think he has a good shot and may be even win this. His ML is 20-1 which makes it a little more tempting for me to place the WP wager. The experts at DRF pick the 7- Move Over and 6- Calaxman. GL everyone.Comment -
