Frontrunners have a edge in the opener which is 1-Gem City Girl 5-1 , 2-Island Candy 5-1 , and 5-Miss Electronica 7-2.Will give the stamina edge to the 2 cutting back from route and going turf to dirt.The 5 could be any kind making only 3rd start after progressing from debut to 2nd start.

Is identical to yesterday's finale in a big Pletcher favorite 7-Madd Exchange 7-5 vs a Terranova turf to dirt MSW dropper 5-Ireland's Eye 8-1.Think blinkers on might really help 3-Nicholson 6-1.If the 5 gets bet too heavy will probably try the 3.

Second race in a row with big Pletcher fave.Will try to beat this one trying open company for the first time after all NY bred races.3-Adirondack Dancer 5-1 looks like the obvious alternative with a cozy draw , 3rd off bench , sprint to route , and some very good back races.A better price would be 1-Lurego 12-1 who I keep waiting to turn into 1/2 bro Turralure.Only 7 starts so upside still may be there and had a wide trip last out.8-Iron Power 5-1 comes out of the same race as the 3 but a little worried about the distance with him.If decide not to use him will go with 4-March Reward 12-1 who gets capable turf rider Lanerie back up after 2 starts with terrible turf jock Borel.

yesterday was great and today was brutal
Had Saintly Joan to win in Monmouth Oaks...Finished 2nd at 34-1
Then played this ex
Om wins at 22-1 with the 2nd choice second
Same thing but less brutal in Spa finale with Prayed For a $19 winner but my other horses finished 3rd and 4th.

No , all I hit was a pretty good exacta in the middle of the Spa card.Liked Seek Again a lot in the feature so should have played horizontals with him but messed up there also.The double into Prayed For had to pay OK.
I have a set bankroll for each day so that no one day can hurt that bad.Plus I did really well on Friday so takes some sting out of it.
As much as it sucks when i sniff out a good long shot and bet it wrong , it's still good for the psyche that they are running good.Comment -

Appears to be a pretty easy race to cap.6-Tiz Time To Shine is 1 of 2 that goes for C Brown and guessing Javi had his pick.5-Thank You 3-1 is the only horse with experience and that alone may win him the race.If there is a shocker I'll throw in 4-Pierce's Prize 15-1 strictly off pedigree.Sky Mesa is one of the best 2 year old sires and can make a very average trainer look good.

What to do with even money fave Tiger D.Ran a race that would appear to win this at CD and now ships up to the Spa for second start.I'll guess he goes backward off that effort as many of the CD shippers have this meet.7-John Bailey 3-1 is the obvious alternative and was last seen setting fast paces and holding well a year ago.Positive barn switch to M Dilger who is on his way to becoming a household name the way his former boss T Pletcher is.Hard to take such a short price on lowly connections of 4-Slew's Brew 6-1 but his 2 turf races are legit.8-Whyalwaysme 12-1 comes out of same race as the 4 with a worse trip and sticking with up and coming trainers T Morley trains.Who is best with turf routers.

Would love to take the price horses in here but Sir Leslie was handed his last race on a silver platter with a fast pace and a dead track and still couldn't finish in front of 4-Goodtolook 4-1 who set the pace and 6-Saturday Appeal 5-1 who wasn't far off it.Similar scenario here with 5-Pinball 2-1 the one that runs them down.He has back figs that crush this field.Can play against 2nd choice Went The Day Well who goes for another new trainer in R Mettee.He has good numbers but not on the A+ tracks.

Two year old maiden turf routes are fun but a total guessing game most times.2-Flying Tipat 8-1 is a full sis to Tapitsfly who was a turf beast.3-The Strip 15-1 and 5-Hail Cornell 15-1 are my prices.Think Mott used the dirt sprint as a strong workout for 4-Lady Of Victory 5-1.May be crazy playing against Pletcher, C Brown, W Ward, and G Motion who all have runners in here.

The 3 favorites all have never been this far.The horses who have are 7-Papy , 5-Duke Of Perth 8-1 , and 6-Ducks Dock 20-1 .The 5 gets lasix and blinkers for the first time.Had him last time when he finished behind My Afleet and Papy but that was off a long break.Can maybe key the 5 and go 4 deep with 1-Rankhasprivilages 12-1 who ran OK in only turf start.

Favorite Ziptronic is 0 for 10 at this distance.Second choice 9-Petey Cramer is 5 for 10 and ITM 9 of 10.Showed last race can rate if need be.6-With Exultation 7-2 is the logical one but Trombetta not as good in NY as elsewhere.The 12 gets a big upgrade in trainer to B Brown.

Very nice field of 2 year old fillies with a few looking like they have their eye down the road to future route races.Another offspring of Warrior's Reward show up in 6-Highly Conditional 10-1 and don't know how you can't ride the wave right now.Same thing for anything J Jerkens enters whether it's turf,dirt,route, or sprint his horses are firing in NY.He has 10-Treasure 12-1.Then there is also a Sky Mesa in 5-Super Saks 15-1.Finally you have two Pletchers that are 2-Blame Dixie and 4-Coral Beach 5-1.The 2 looks like she has been working faster but Blame is her sire while the 4 isn't to shabby in the AM and by very good 2 year old sire Tale Of The Cat.Blame Dixie might be REALLY good.3-Sophronia 6-1 also looks good for Cat man by same dam as Wine Police.Have to cut someone but the whole field is well bred.

1-Big Island Boy 5-1 took a big step forward 1st time out for Asmussen.If improves 2nd start will win.12-Part 6-1 needs to work out a trip from outside but lightly raced gelding could still have upside.The 7 and 8 are the safest others however 4-Professor Chaos 50-1 could run a lot better than ML.Every now and then he runs a race that could hit the board here like when he broke his maiden at this distance and track with same jock.

3-Angela Renee 5-2 was very professional in her only race and pace figs say she will move forward off it making it very tough for anyone in here to top her.Not sure how 4-Take Charge Brandi 10-1 goes off at the ML.Ran huge in Schuylerville producing the only fig in here that would compete with an improved 3.Last is between 5-Cavorting 7-2 and 6-Vivian Da Bling 4-1.Both won their races in blowout fashion and sometimes it's a better effort than figures say.It is hard to put a figure on a race where the horse wins by 10 lengths.

But I think I'm gonna take a shot at her. $20W on 9, and $5 Exacta 9-2. $1 Tri 9-2-3,6,7,10. Let's see what million dollar horse is made of.
