Was going to play 1-miss.. as I thought 3rd off layoff, nicely spaced
useful races last two and a G1 in Argentina 3 back.But the fact Bejarano
or Stevens not riding bothers me. Can understand Bejarano going to the
horse he's riding more than Steven's choice.. the other Mott.. Obviously
6-emoilent better than these but based on Steven's choice I'll take a little
flyer on 7-FLORAL ROMANCE (8-1)

supported well early, lezcano riding, and with what she showed as a 2yo
think it's a good fit at this level.Only cost 7500 so drop not a big concern.
Will she have her ready with modest training center works big??

bad race two back was without blinkers.. He can
go or sit and has experience at two turns. Like his short career
so far but definitely some talented horses in here

aqu R9 #6 horse with no name (6-1)

12 post in his debut sprinting and passed half the field after getting
out slow.. Back in 39 days he ran dead even around the track @ 8.5f.Solid
works and back in 41days. Think ready for a big effort today and race should
set up nicely for him. Bred to run all day and big jockey upgrade

TP bourbonette oaks

R10 #6 super sky (12-1)

talented consistent filly with a nice stalking running style. Nice middle post
to get good position and solid foundation from last two. Already won on the
poly at kee and think a mile good fit for her

TP spiral stakes

R11 #5 coastline (8-1)

nice 2yo campaign including a win in a listed stakes. Had to break from the
10 post first race back as a 3yo at OP and ran a credible 3rd. Tough trip last
out from an inside post in a big field. Two nice works at OTC since on the poly
and has already won over the surface at kee

Sunland Derby R11

#3 commissioner (7-2)

Big pedigree and able to win @ 9f as a 2yo at Saratoga and as a
3yo at GP with a solid beyer.. Think the race he ran in in the FOY
last out breaking the rail will have him primed for today. Lots of
speed and think he will sit a nice trip here. 4 weeks rest off last
good spacing

The path he took to the G1 longines win three back very similar to
how he's coming up to this race. From the timing in between races
to how he finished. Came back in a week that time but 3 weeks to this
race. Capable at 10f against top company

#5 east hall (20-1)

Not sure what happened at Tampa last out but prior to that
his beyers went up every race he ran on the dirt. Had to break
12 post two races back in FOY and still didn't run bad finishing 4th.
Should get a nice set up here with considerable speed in the race.
Likely to be an overlay and not a bad horse to use bottom
of tris and supers

#7 commanding curve (20-1)

No, I don't think he's better than the top 3 but I do think he'll be a value
here.. Main thing about him to me are his solid beyer route efforts as a 2yo
at CD. Not a bad race off a 2 month layoff in the Risen Star last out breaking
from the 12 hole. Plenty of speed to set up his run and nice middle post for
him to settle in good position

nearly 8 months and caught behind a dawdeling slow pace in latest effort.
