I don't believe in show betting.. The only thing I would suggest is on occasion
it might be better to put really high odds in 2nd and 3rd in tris and supers with
logicals (low odds) on top.. that's where they're more likely to finish if they do make
a run of it

No problem.. You really can't look at this day to day. Would rather have a good
one than a bad one of course but it's all about money mgmt and grinding it out
over the long haul. No one's immune from bad days, months, quarters and even years.

a large majority of people don't win over the long haul and improving
your game usually means losing less rather than winning. I do believe
that 1-2% beat this game but it's impossible to determine if that's correct

Have to agree with your sentiments. I think for most you need to make a big money move on a long shot like Birdstone, Mine that bird,Volponi, Princess of Slymar etc to win overall. Or hit a huge tri/super. Met a guy last year at Keeneland that said he hit the tri when Mine that Bird won the derby. Paid about 40k.

Always nice to make a score like that once or twice but to me the true test is to be able to do
it without that big hit.. Hit 5-1s,10-1s,20-1s more often than there odds dictate they should win..
To me if you can't do that over long periods of time you lack the ability to win at this game and
and I feel this is doable for top cappers
