Saturday Plays
1.) Edmonton Oilers vs. Atlanta Thrashers Over 5.5 Goals - Both teams have been scoring and being scored on at an amazing rate. I don't think too much changes tonight. I think both teams should be able to light the lamp consistently enough tonight in order to get over the number.
2.) Vancouver Cancucks (ML -200) vs. Dallas Stars - The Stars have been fading fast and their play on the road has been aweful. The Cancucks haven't been playing as well as they had been but I think with the struggling Stars coming to town I think the Cancucks get it done tonight.

Another perfect day!!!!Saturday Plays
1.) Edmonton Oilers vs. Atlanta Thrashers Over 5.5 Goals - Both teams have been scoring and being scored on at an amazing rate. I don't think too much changes tonight. I think both teams should be able to light the lamp consistently enough tonight in order to get over the number. WIN!

Sunday Plays
1.) Minnesota Wild vs. Detroit Red Wings (ML -140) - The Red Wings have been red hot on their recent road trip. Including winning a game with their rookie goalie in net. Today they go to Minnesota a place where they have traditionally played well. Without Koivu in the lineup I think the Wild will struggle to put goals in the back of the net. To add to the woes for the Wild Backstrom has only beaten the Red Wings once in his career.

1.) NY Islanders vs. Florida Panthers Over 5.5 Goals (-110) - The Islanders have score 3 or more goals themselves in all of their last 10 games. While the Panthers have netted 2 or more in 8 of their last 10 games. This game just screams over. I would be shocked to see this one go under. Can't pass it up at such low odds.

They have won the last 15 times the Oilers have made the trip down to Minnesota. I don't think this streak ends tonight. Backstrom looked lightsout against the Red Wings Sunday and I don't think he'll have much trouble against a team he typically dominates.

I was going to make this play tonight, but I had a few concerns with the game. Wild will be playing without their captain. They played on Sunday well without him, but I'm just weary to see how they can play without him for the longterm. The Oilers on the other hand have had an impressive three game winning streak at home. They'll use the momentum from these wins to help motivate them to win this game and end their 14 away game losing streak. Or they will just be amazed with the fact that they won three games in a row, and lose the next ten games in a rowTuesday Plays

That was my one concern about the game. But I guess in hindsight I guess it was a pretty good pick.
