2.) Buffalo Sabers (ML +105) vs. Detroit Red Wings - Joey MacDonald is anything but reliable in net with a career record somewhere around 20-40. He won his last time out but there is nothing to show that he will be able to beat a good team that is playing well right now and making a push for the playoffs.

Ouch, not the best of nights. Tomorrow's play imo is Nashville ML since they've beaten Columbus 15 straight times or something at home. GL!

Monday Plays

1.) Minnesota Wild vs. Chicago Blackhawks (ML -120) - The Blackhawks have been hot as of late as defending champions want a shot at a repeat title. If they don't kick things into gear soon they could find themselves on the outside looking in come playoff time. I think that the Hawks will control most of the game and Backstrom will find himself very busy tonight. The Hawks need this game to keep making up ground in the standings.

2.) Los Angeles Kings vs. Detroit Red Wings (ML 105) - The Red Wings are a very good road team. Any time you can get them at a plus number is always a good deal. The Red Wings come into tonight game coming off an impressive come back win in Buffalo on Friday night. I think they use this confidence builder to push past the Kings for the first time this season.

Tuesday's Plays

1.) Atlanta Thrashers vs. Montreal Canadians (ML -115) - The Thrashers are without starting goalie Pavelec again. I'm not to impressed with his back up Mason. The Canadians return Carey Price to the net after a battle with the flu. I think that the Canadians overwhelm the Thrashers tonight. The Canadians need this game to keep pace in the east and keep them in the race for their division title.

2.) Phoenix Coyotes (ML -145) vs. Dallas Stars - The Coyotes have had a rough couple of games but I think they get back on track tonight against the Stars who have gotten a couple quality wins in a row but overall have faltered as of late. Think both streaks end tonight and Phoenix gets back to winning while the Stars find their losing ways again. Don't think they they get many by Bryzgalov tonight especially missing Richards again.

3.) San Jose Sharks (ML -270) vs. Colorado Avalanche - Arguably one of the hottest teams against one of the coldest teams in the NHL face off tonight. Don't think the Avalanche have a prayer in this game.

goodluck tonight. its pretty crazy to think that if nashville wins and dallas loses, the once 2nd or 3rd place( i forget how high up they made it) stars will be in 9th place!

Wednesday Plays

1.) Anaheim Ducks vs. Detroit Red Wings (ML -145) - The Red Wings look to keep their road winning streak going tonight in Anaheim. With Hiller not back in net yet I don't think the Ducks stand a chance to slow down the red hot Wings. Dan Ellis (probable starting goalie) hasn't beaten the Red Wings in his career. To add to Anaheim's problems against the Wings they haven't won in three attempts against them this year.

Need to get back on track been a rough week for me.

Friday's Plays

1.) New Jersey Devils (ML -170) vs. Pittsburgh Penguins - The Penguins still aren't back to full strength and haven't been able to finish out games lately. The Devils on the other hand are making an extraordinary playoff push right now. They have somehow scratched their way back into the playoff talk. The Devils are 9-1 in their last ten home games. Johnson starts in goal tonight for the Penguins for Fluery who gets a night off. I think the Devils will catch Johnson on his heels tonight and find a convincing win.

2.) Chicago Blackhawks (ML -210) vs. Carolina Hurricanes - The Hurricanes have gotten a couple of pretty impressive wins in their last two games but the Blackhawks are making sure that they won't be left out of the playoff race. They have won 6 straight. I don't think this will change tonight as they face the back-up goalie for the Hurricanes as the team will have played 3 games in 4 days after tonight. Don't think the Hurricanes will have enough gas in the take to get a W tonight.

Nah was plus too many units to drop all the way into the red. But it was a rough night. Gonna be close to only plus about 10 units or so.

My thoughts exactly. Can't believe it. Edmonton also was missing a few key guys and they still put up 6 on you. Colorado's goal tending situation is bad and their goal scores have seemingly forgot that you have to put the puck in the back of the net.

Oh well I guess. You win some and you lose some.
