#179Missed out on some early games that it's looking like I would've made some money off of.
But hopefully I've got a few winners left in the bad for today.
Sunday Plays
1.) Florida Pathers vs. San Jose Sharks (ML -145) - The Sharks have been on a role while on this east coast road trip. I don't see their momentum ending today. Florida just has no real scoring threat. I don't see them putting enough pucks in the net to stop the red hot Sharks. I like the Sharks to take another away win today.
2. Anaheim Ducks (ML -130) vs. Edmonton Oilers - The Oilers flat out suck. They couldn't even come to play against their rival Ottawa Senators yesterday. What makes any one think they will be able to compete with a team that has gone into some hostile environments and got wins (Vancouver and Calgary). See the Ducks winning another one over the Oilers tonight.
Good Luck

#184Thanks man. Too bad San Jose didn't come though for a winner. So upset about that one. They dominated play throughout the game and then gave up two unanswered near the end of the 3rd. So not cool!Originally posted by skm39Good day yesterday timmonen, picks today look good too. Will be tailing, BOL!

#189Monday's Plays
1.) St. Louis Blues vs. Vancouver Canucks (ML -135) - Vancouver is still red hot and the Blues have been ice cold. After losing a pair of games over the weekend to the Wild I don't think they'll have the confidence to play with the best team in hockey right now. Vancouver has looked dominating over the last week. I don't see that streak changing tonight.
2.) Colorado Avalanche vs. Calgary Flames (ML -105) - The Avalanche 7 game losing streak is enough for me to fade them....even though I'm almost positive my colligue will pick his Avalanche tonight. I just don't see them getting off the schneid tonight. Calgary is losers of 2 in a row themselves but I see them bouncing back tonight against a team that leaks in goals like nobody's business and is desimated with injuries.
Good Luck

#196The goal called off could have gone either way. But I see it all the time watching the Hawks this year. Refs blow the whistle way too early time and time again before goalies have control. The Hawks have easily had a handful of goals called off this year that should have been good.Originally posted by THExGunslingerwell, atleast me might be able to cut our losses down a bit if avs vs calgary can keep finding the net

#197true but it shouldn't have come down to that, nucks were short handed too often and had a major mishap by Luongo for st louis's second goal. It's ok though I had 8 straight winning nights before tonight in NHL and will get back on soon. I shouldnt have taken the pl anyway, just been hitting them lately so I tested my luck a bit. ttfnOriginally posted by darkstar77The goal called off could have gone either way. #198I was out to dinner and missed the first two periods so didnt see any goals. I didnt notice the 'Nucks getting outshot pretty good though. Not a typical game from them for sure.Originally posted by THExGunslingertrue but it shouldn't have come down to that, nucks were short handed too often and had a major mishap by Luongo for st louis's second goal. #208Tuesday's Plays
1.) Minnesota Wild (ML -110) vs. Vancouver Canucks - Normally I'll be the first one to jump on the Canucks bandwagon but I don't think they get it done tonight. They're performance last night in St. Louis wasn't very pretty. With no rest, playing in a venue where they don't play well traditionally, and giving Luongo a night off I think the Wild will take advantage.
2.) Edmonton Oilers vs. Dallas Stars (ML -135) - Continuing to fade Habibulin until he proves to me that he can win. The Stars can be inconsistent at times but have beaten the Oilers in 3 contests this year. I don't think that's going to change tonight. Look for the Stars to win their 4th straight against a team they have dominated this year.
Good Luck

#209Canucks vs Wild is one of the few Canucks games i stay away from. But i think your pick looks good. Canucks are going into this down a bunch of defencemen, and defence is what they need against the wild. plus playing 2 games in 2 nights wont help. I hope my team wins, but still wish you luck on this play!

#210Hey THExGunslinger and Timmonnen,
I was wondering.. do you never play a parlay? I know singles is the way to go, but they are not fun and pays bad compared with a double or a triple? What would in your opinion be the best parlay for tonight? I'm searching for something that could pay me 5 or 6 times back
