Still pissed the Caps played like crap and Backstrom couldn't bury the biscuit in the basket, it was wide open!

Caps will never win a cup, think I am going to do a write up on it with some explanation.

This was a RARE pick because of how HORRIBLE the Caps played, I was so frustrated and pissed off since the first period, I went on a mission to make up for the loss of money. I knew after that first period the caps -1.5 was a loss. And I just coulnd't accept having a loss for the day because the OVER RATED caps couldn't beat the banged up Islanders.

Yeh dude, I try not to have more then 3 picks per day. I used to cap all the games a few years back and in the beginning it paid of big time, but by the end of the season I noticed by percentage was barely over 50% But I did have a nice profit.

Im trying to increase my % this season, last season I think I was about...58%-ish I know I can do a lot better then that, and if it means cutting down on the amount of picks daily, then so be it

If the caps cannot beat the banged up Islanders by 2 or more goals, the Caps are a poor excuse for a hockey team and need to be removed from the NHL.

there's a well coached, young, hungry team on the Isle. They are not the pushover they were last season, even with (arguably) their top two or even three players out.

Good call on the pens/leafs over, though.

Yep, I must admit Islanders aren't as bad as we were usually used to. But this doesn't excuse the really bad performance of the Caps.
I get the impression that the team relies too much on Ovi to get the important goals. They need a big team thinking/brainstorm to get back on track. I believe they'll wake up sooner or later. Just having a hard beginning as other teams.

cool, i placed this one earlier and you have no idea how glad i am to see it as your selection as well. i could've gone w/o seeing DG also on it but im holding off on posting in his thread hoping to keep the whammy at bay for just this game
