I can't ignore the Caps at these low odds vs the Leafs. The Leafs have played better and knocked off the Caps this year but Washington is by far the superior of the two clubs and should pull it off tonight.
BOS (-130) vs NYI $130 to win $100
Boston has won 8 of the last 10 meetings against the Isles and have won the 3 meetings in Long Island. Boston is playing well the last few weeks, Isles are struggling. Just an auto play for me with these low odds.
BUF vs NYR Under 5.5 (-140)
Two low scoring, tight defensive minded clubs battle it out tonight. The Rangers are 11-6 for the under at home this season and the Sabres are 7-4 for the under on the road this year. Miller and Lundqvist are slated to face off tonight and it should be a low scoring affair and the under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.Comment -

Well it could have been better but it also coulda have been worse. Got lucky as hell with the BUF/NYR under but unlucky in BOS as they dominated the Isles. WAS just fell apart thanks to some shotty goaltending and horrid D. All in all a meh kinda night.

This one screams under at me big time. Detroit is 13-3 for the under at home including 9 straight. Phoenix is the biggest under team in the league and is 12-3 for the under on the road, including 9-1 in the last 10. No Osgood tonight for DET which should take away the 1-2 weak goals per game factor. Bryzgalov has been great this year and Howard has done a lot better recently. Both teams are a combined 44-18 on the year for the under.Comment -

Pittsburgh is getting really good odds tonight in Philly which surprises me a bit. Philly is a mess right now and still struggling big time. The Pens have won 8 of the last 10 meetings, including a 2-0 mark this season and 4-1 in Philly the last 5 meetings. With Fleury projected to start and Boucher for Philly you gotta give the Pens the edge across the board in this one.
