Looks like one of those nights where nothing is going to get in. This has garbage goal for the W written all over it. Ducks had several good chances this period and jack squat.

Playing 0.5 unit on each. If either one scores, you secure a little profit. Dallas may be without key defenseman Brenden Dillon again. Even if he manages to suit up, he could be ineffective. He's one of the Stars more experienced members of the D-line, so that would give Perry & Getzlaf potentially more openings.
Holla back yo. 2/2!

Good job on the goalscorers! Should have picked Datsyuk myself
Can't say I was too impressed with the Bruins last night and my hunch was right: Ducks scored more goals than the Bruins.. One or two Datsyuk tricks is what happens when You play the Red Wings - but NO goals in three play off periods on home ice.. C'mon man!
Will be monitoring the sheets and check in later. Have a good day!

4.19.14: CHI-STL Over 5 [-125] STL found their goal scoring groove again after a terrible stretch to finish the season. Game 1 of this series also made it 5/6 meetings this season between these two that has seen at least five goals. The STL defense/goal tending continues to have issues as they have now given up at least three goals in seven straight and eight of their last ten. CHI has also given up at least three goals now in seven of their last ten, while scoring three or more in six of their last ten.

4.19.14: FIRST PERIOD PLAYS-->
+ Penguins to score 1 goal or more in the 1. period against the BlueJackets (1.52)
In Game 1, Pens scored 1 goal in the first period, 2 in the second and 1 in the third. They won the last two periods by 1 goal. Looking at the way they played in the third period of Game 1, I am compelled to believe that they will be able to continue their pressure-play and score at least 1 goal in the first period.
+ Avalanche to score 1 goal or more in the first period against Minnesota Wild (1.65)
Everyone knows how it ended in Denver, two nights ago.. The Avs are red hot and I think they will be scoring at least 1 goal or more in the first period against the Minnesota Wild. In Game 1, the Avs scored 1 goal in the first period, 1 in the second, 2 in the third and 1 in OT.. [I just saw my local bookies line for Avs +1.5 in the first: +440!] - how about it?
OUR MOTHER OF LUCK!

4.19.14: PIT G MARC-ANDRE FLEURY Total Saves Over 27.5 [-115] Columbus' game plan in the games Fleury has started against them seems pretty apparent, put the puck on goal as much as possible. As a result, Fleury has now made 30+ saves in all four games vs. CLB this season, including 31 in Game 1. In six overall meetings this season, the Jackets have put up 30 or more shots four times. I think they'll continue tonight, so the key will be Fleury not getting torched.

Nice hit on the Pens 1st period bet. Mine looks like a lost cause already. Should have just taken a shot on the over at plus money.

Feel like a total egghead not taking the over now. Sheesh. CLB can't stop going in the penalty box either. Well I guess on the plus side being way down, if they can stop committing penalties - they have to shoot the puck as much as possible to try and cut into the deficit. Three saves though, gonna be a helluva rally if they even come close to putting enough shots on and Fleury keeps 'em out.
Looking at MIN-COL later, will be posting up in just a little bit.

Thanks! Almost lost my nerve after that Bruins game yesterday though.. Motherless cun7s!
Either way, I lost the ML pick AND the parlay because of the Bruins +0.5 pick. So, do I count the Ducks ML pick as a good pick in my stats, or do I loose it because I parlayed? Stats-wise, not money-wise..

To rephrase my question:
Would You count a two-pick-parlay-play as one or two picks in Your stats?

Honestly, I think You made a valid bet. The Jackets usually lay around 10-11 shots on net pr period, so this is either a Jacket-off-day or a brilliant start for the Pens-defense.. The start of the second suggests more than 4 Jacket-shots for the period

17 saves by Fleury so far.. Expecting a Bluejacket blitz in the third period and 'over 10 saves by Fleury isn't unrealistic, I think..
About my question: forget about it! I don't know why I wasn't thinking.. Bottom line is, I guess it depends on whether you're counting picks or plays.. s'cuse me ;-)

Parlay I would count as "one play" .... Gotta a chance in the 3rd. Need that blitz and for Fleury to be up to the task.

Yeah it's gonna be really close it looks like. Have the added possibility of OT as well ... although I never bank on that.

4.19.14: MIN-COL Over 5 [-115] Tough to not back goals in this series with the way the last three meetings have played out. All featuring at least six goals. MIN seemingly found its offense big time down the stretch with at least three goals in seven of their last ten. COL also had their scoring skates on with three or more in the same stretch.

Well need one save and OT is now on the table. Definitely gonna bang the over for the rest of this series. Don't see how the books do not adjust some, even with the switch to CLB for the next couple.

Heh. Those rarely go well. Pens lucky to not have lost already in OT. PP unit for CLB throwing shots all over the place.
