Bonus play earned. Looking at this Pens-Jackets game. Insane so far, fun to watch. May also save for the ANA-DAL G1 tonight. Will likely be posting a Series Pick for that one as well.

Even though I played this, I kinda felt OT was coming. Pens playoff tradition. I was going to take the Stars to win their series, but deciding to wait a game or two. Price might suck, but we'll see.

Seems like it will be a very home ice type of series from recent meetings. Road teams rarely having won a game.

Rangers win, but by one I think. I think a 3-2 final type of scenario. Otherwise it is over 5 for sure. And if that's the case I would take the Rangers -1.5 goals.
Naturally, I say "for sure" in the sense I have "reasonable confidence that..." Based on units, I would say 1 and max of 2.

Not looking good for this one. Some good chances, but near misses & retarded goal tending.

I didn't earn it since the first play lost, but as long as I don't play more than two without scoring a win - I think I stay in control. Really liked this, so have to do it.
4.17.14: COL G Semyon Varlamov Total Saves Over 27 [-120] @ Bovada The Avs allow a ton of shots per game, almost 33. MIN may not be a high quantity team, but it does not seem to matter against COL. Varlamov made 30+ saves in two of the four regular season meetings - both coming in Colorado. The other two feel just short at 26 & 25. Over his last 15 starts, he's made 30 or more saves eleven times.

LoL ... finally some luck goes my way ... a late goal and OT gives me more minutes to get one more save for a push. I'd say it's still 100-1. The way the day has gone, MIN scores on their first shot or COL does.

Well low and behold, OT yields a lucky winner. With how the day played, I think I deserved that shit! Will look over stuff tomorrow. Going to enjoy ending a mostly crap day on an up note.

SWEEPING THE FIRST TWO ! / ?
I think I'm gonna tail some ducks tonight.. And for more than one reason!
Secondly, the ML prices are marginally better than with the Bruins, who is also in a much tighter matchup with the Red Wings, in my opinion. There should be more value in the Anaheim pick because I think that this second game (at the Honda Center) will display an even greater difference between the Ducks and the Stars. But also the greater winning-margin than what I think the Bruins can muster vs. Red Wings.
Any objections?

4.18.13: MON G CAREY PRICE TOTAL SAVES OVER 28 [-110] Tampa only took 25 shots in Game 1, about five below their season average. It was MTL who shoveled an endless amount of shots on goal instead. Tonight, I am looking for Tampa to be a little more assertive in flinging the puck at Price. Prior to Game 1, Price was facing a ton of shots down the stretch with 30+ saves in four of his last five starts. TB had put up 30 or more shots in six of its last ten, so I do think they're fully capable of slinging shots in Price. He'll need to be a little sharper than Game 1 as well.

I dunno, I liked Dallas to make this a series. It is tough though to know if they found something in Game 1 after falling behind big or the Ducks gifted them some goals. I may take a look at the OVER in that one though. See how this prop goes for me first. Good luck to ya.

Thinking of playing over 5 here, not likely to be real low scoring.

Just thoughts anyway. We'll see..
Like Your pick - Price has been outstanding and Bolts are against the wall in this one.
I picked Bruins +0.5 and ML. Parlayed the +0.5 with Ducks ML, as a small experiment.
Good luck and enjoy!
Good luck to You as well.

4.18.14: DAL-ANA GAME 2
Corey Perry to Score +130
Ryan Getzlaf to Score +170
Playing 0.5 unit on each. If either one scores, you secure a little profit. Dallas may be without key defenseman Brenden Dillon again. Even if he manages to suit up, he could be ineffective. He's one of the Stars more experienced members of the D-line, so that would give Perry & Getzlaf potentially more openings.
