I have had a brutal week in all sports. I have great plays that I don't make and then the ones I do (other than Unders in nba and nhl) seem to lose. Just a streak we all go through. Weird isn't it?

I got back my big losses with more disciplined and selective betting method. You said NHL is about staying above the water and finding a lock and pounding that play. So this is gonna be today. I chose Pittsburgh by clear mind and it makes me feel safer because you and El Nino has Pittsburgh pick. I bet big(7units) on Penguins -1,0 in reg+OT. Also got Pengs -1,5 & St Louis ML parlay. Florida maintaining pressure. Penguins have to be more determined in the 2nd period as they were against Caps. Could have ended 0:2 so I guess it's a minor damage in the very bad 1st period.

Woww, Penguins stink last night. Crosby was like a ghost, Fleury was the best of the ice by far, Penguins couldn't get the deciding position at all so we lost by big. My first time betting 7units on a match and what a surprise, it lost. It would be great, I would go into the green side after a sick month but guess red continues for January. But what i can say is that i won't be leaving this strategy, staying above the water then a big play to get big. Sounds good and probable for me, hope the same for you Ser Pucks! Thanks man, sorry to hear about your big loss...but seriously though, a lot of the time when teams are favoured around the -300 mark, they come out and lose (think BUF @ SJ earlier in the year). I was actually tempted to put half a unit on the Panthers because of this, but it looked good on paper for Pittsburgh, just an unfortunate result. Best play of the night was the Blues and I'm kicking myself for not putting 5 units on them. Llet's get it back brother.

Yeah, SJ also lost at home to the Isles with Sharks at -330 or so. That's why I didn't touch that one last night.

Yep - I am kicking myself for not putting 2 units instead of 1.5 on Blues, and for going with 1 unit on that 1st period Under play I had instead of .5 units, in which 2 goals were scored in the last 3.5 minutes of the period.

Right at gametime, I regretted it...I get that feeling often right before the game starts and there's nothing I can do.

Yep, seen it too many times, there was a game last year as well that EVERYONE was on, I believe it was Dallas playing their 2nd half of a B2B in LA where they were "unbeatable". Result? 2-0 Dallas win, I believe a bunch of people went broke that night....

But damn, those NY Islanders are resilient, my LORD! They've come from behind on me 2 days in a row. Will not be betting against them for a while, and I will not be betting on the LA Kings for a while...very inconsistent hockey club.

I only lost 1.5 units and was going to bet on Avs ml to make up for losses...or a parlay with Avs and Ducks. And almost bet on Under in Blues game.
