I wanted to ask you as you know so much more than me about the Leafs. What do you think about the Over in that game. I have cashed maybe 7 out of 8 Over in Coyotes games. They tend do play highscoring ones. And with Reimer in net. At first glance it seems like a good bet. What do you make of it?

You're right, at first glance it looks like a good bet. PHX struggling to keep pucks out, and of the 2 leaf goalies for an over, you would want Reimer in net. Having said that since both teams are struggling I could also see this being a bit of a grind fest with not much scoring. But as you know, I'm not much of an Over/Under guy so take that for what it's worth. Sorry for the late response...

I was wrestling with Bruins all day yesterday and decided to stay away. Teams in which I have nhl futures (like Boston, SJ, StL I tend to stay away from knowing that if they win, I'll be in good shape - if they lose, don't really lose out)
I feel like I had a bad night - ended up winning .5 units, but feel crappy about taking the Grand Salami at the last hour, and for 1st time this year, I lost. 3-1 now on season.

With St. Louis up 2 and playing much better in the 2nd, I took a little bit of a gamble and hedged my parlay. It sucks because I had to take Dallas after I already saw they were up 1-0 which is unfortunate odds wise. I would just hate to come away with nothing if SJ ends up losing. Let`s hope STL holds on and I don`t make a fool of myself.

Well it was a little bit of a frustrating evening last night. Mike Babcock changing his starting goalie at the last second didn`t help my Red Wing cause, St. Louis shit the bed in the 3rd period which was basically a 4u swing which cost me my night from being positive. Oh well, hopefully a few days off refreshes us all and we all come back strong after Christmas.

Red Wings have screwed me again. I could have had a good night last night had they just lost by 1 goal. How can you lose by 3 at home to The Isles - maybe the crappiest team in nhl.

Maybe you can tell me how you manage to stay in the positive in nhl.
I am hovering since I started - I think down 1 unit total.
The lines are so juiced I don't think it's wise to bet on a team with -160 odds or worse.
And then when a good team has a line of -130 or so, my team loses by a goal.

Is it better to pick underdogs half the time?
And when I pick Anaheim, they lose in OT 3 times in shootouts when they had the lead!!! So I fade them and they rattle off like 10 wins in a row!
It also probably helps to watch some games. I have only seen parts of 3 games all season.

I would say Boston is a good bet to win the division, they`re so consistent every year. I don`t think Tampa can keep up the consistency all year to be ahead of the Bruins in April. Not too sure about the West, I`d say Chicago but I`m don`t follow it near as much as I do the East...
