thanks for your thoughts and well wishes...I have no interest in laying two TD's with Rutgers but not in a hurry to play Syracuse either...had a slight lean to Michigan at double digits, but no play for me in the 8ish range...most Big Ten games are pretty tough to figure out IMO...GL this week...

Tcu game was a kick in the nuts for me. Probably one of my best capped games of the year and it's a loser.

Anyway , after tht game , I did not want to talk football so I missed the thursday release of the write-ups but found out they are enjoyable on fridays as well.

honestly, I have a slight lean the other way in that game but it isn't a strong opinion...I can make cases for both sides in that game so I'd have to recommend a no play...

thanks very much for the recognition and kind words...just kind of superstitious and have enjoyed my time posting at SBR for the most part, plus I feel pretty loyal to Bill Dozier (owner of the site) who helped me many years ago find good books to play with...no way I would take LSU in that game, but I'm not in a rush to play Alabama either because of all of the emotion surrounding the game...GL with what you decide...

no real opinion in any of those three games...OSU is a good team and I'm seeing 7.5 currently in that one...UCLA is off a bye and should put up a good fight but I feel there's a pretty big talent gap in the game, especially with the suspensions of 3 UCLA starters this week...I'm seeing 8 in the Minnesota game and I mentioned earlier in the thread it's a no play for me, feel free to check out my reasoning above...just posted my thoughts about the Georgia Tech vs. North Carolina game above...glad to hear we will be on some games together...GL this weekend...

Thanks for the thread. It appears you a the big capper on this site and always do well. I have been on fire the past couple weeks but no one listens to a rookie. I was filling out the spreadsheet but gave it up. Took way to long to fill out. I have been playing games for over 8 years and have cashed every year. As for this week in NCAAF, I feel some of the lines are way off. I know you are all set with your picks pags and you followers too, but if you don't mind, I want to piggy back your thread to show what I can do. So if anyone out there is interested, here is what I'm taking for Saturday (11/8/08)

OHIO ST -11 12:00 PM Too Much Talen and any team off a bye week I love. Historically these teams are rested and preped well. In all honesty, I don't see why this line is not more. I feel this may be a trap game, but with OSU defense and a banged up NW team, I can't see OSU keeping this close. 31-14. OSU

N. CAROLINA -4 12:00 PM Once again, this falls into a team coming off a bye week. This team has shown that defensively at home they are great. This team is rested and playing a team off a huge victory of FSU last week. G.Tech loves to run but I don't see them being very successfull as they have been all year. Davis will have his boys ready, although I don't think this will be a blow out, I feel UNC at home has the advantage. 23-10 UNC

OKLAHOMA -28 3:30 PM Should not even be close. Sorry, not much to write but the Sooners have not had issues since Texas. People are not talking about the Sooners so to wake up the pollsters about Bradford (heisman) and Oklahoma, they need to run up the score and Stoops knows this. 49-13 SOOOONERS

BAMA -3.5 3:30 PM Too much talent for LSU to handle. Death Valley is a tough place to play, but Bama has just too much talent on Defense. Sorry Beaux's, but Tide rolls in second half and its not pretty. Bamam 31-21

Speed, Speed, Speed. Was I the only one who thought that this Cincy team looked like a top contender last week agains S. Florida. Momentum is a great thing and Cincy has it. Granted, I know W. Va. is feeling that they have there offensive swagger back, but Pat White will not be able to carry the load. Cincy wins this one outright. 31-27 Cats!

At home vs. a non opponent, seriously. this is over by 1/2 time. Don't let last weeks Baylor game fool everyone. Mizzou jumped out to a 14-0 lead and got lazy. I do not expect that to happen at home. Mizzou rolls 52- 3

OKLAHOMA ST. +4 8:00 PM
Yes, I will say this and probably get smashed but I think OK State is one of the best teams out there. I think this is a let down game for Tex Tech. After watching last weeks game, OK state can run the ball and keeping Tech off the field will be a big advantage. For every team coming off a high, there has to be a low and I think Tech gets that low this week. Cowboys 42-31.

Thanks for the plays and writeups Pags, I like all your plays, especially Louisville against Pitt, this is a great spot for them. Also love the Florida St. play, especially now as the line has dropped to 3.5 at my book, Clemson has been a total disappointment this year
