-1-2 in. of rain locally tonight according to weather channel. The field surface is the new faux grass (ProPlay) that has very good drainage so its not going to be a muddy mess, but will be hard to throw the ball regardless.
-The total has gone UNDER in 8 of Arkansas State's last 10 games on the road..just one of the trends that got my attention

Toledo coming off a big win against Northern Illinois without starting QB Opelt proved that they are capable of playing with any team in the MAC
Temple comes into Toledo with a four game win streak after hanging on to beat Army on Saturday.
Temple's defense will struggle to keep up with Toledo's quick strike offense.
A few trends that jumped out at me
Temple is 4-21 SU in its last 25 games on the road
Toledo 4-0 against Temple last four meetings

Miami -4.5
-Miami coming off an impressive win at Central Florida where Harris was 26-29 for 293 yards. The more he plays the more confident he looks.
-Senior safety Randy Phillips will return to the starting the lineup for first time since loss to Va Tech
Clemson dismantled a one dimensional Wake Forest team at home coming off a bye. Rewind two weeks to a loss at Maryland, a team that has struggled against everybody else this year.
Clemson 3-1 at home
0-2 on road
-Now they are traveling into Miami against a team with speed that will neutralize Spiller's speed advantage
-Clemson has had some issues with their coaching staff and the head coach not giving the OC free reign in play calling.
The line movement on this one is a little surprising to me, but I will gladly take the superior team at home giving up less than a TDComment -

Everybody knows Bradford will not be playing this weekend, including Oklahoma. A full week of practice knowing exactly what they need to do against a Kansas team that gave up 34 points to Colorado.
Oklahoma's defense will win this game for them
-Oklahoma has to look to establish a balanced attack with Brown and Murray running the ball more effectively to open up the big plays through the air
-Kansas home passing defense is ranked 110th in college football
-Kansas QB Todd Reesing was sacked five times by a very suspect Colorado defense
-Oklahoma is allowing fewer than 10 points a game

-Yeahit is scary to bet on Syracuse giving up any points let alone 10, but once again, I am fading the team on the opposite side of the ball
-the offense in the hands of the 4th QB this season freshman Patrick Nicely. His backups are freshman Jared Wackerly and Student Coach Tim Zetts.
-the school is running ads on campus looking for "experienced high school qb's" to try out for the position.

Cincinnati leads the nation with an average of more than 10 tackles for loss per game. The Bearcats lead the nation in sacks. Expect them to give Paulus fits on Saturday. WR Mardy Gilyard said it didn't matter who played quarterback with the type of offense the Bearcats run and after watching its last two games I would have to agree.
Syracuse did not blow out Akron as I expected them to last week which says a lot to me, because Akron is terrible. This is my best bet of the week.

The problem for the Hurricanes has been their tendency to give up big plays.LB Shawn Spence is out for Miami which is one reason this line remains lower. We will see if Miami has enough depth to fill this void. Wake lacks the big play threat and after coming off a beatdown by Clemson and a loss to Navy, things are not going well on offense with a combined 13 pts. scored in the last 3 games.
Wake will not be able to compete with the overall team speed of Miami. If Miami can be disciplined for 4 quarters and avoid the letdowns that cost them against Clemson, expect them to dominate this matchup.

I am taking a risk on this play because QB Opelt is doubtful to play with a shoulder injury. This line is lower because of his uncertainty and Miami's play last week against NIU. Miami had 0 TO's for first time all season which kept game the close. They gave up 6 sacks and had negative rushing yards for the game though. Toledo's weakness is their defense, but Miami will not be able to keep up with the quick scoring attack of Toledo. Last week was a huge disappointment against Temple, but Miami is one of the worst teams in college football. Any time they are giving up less than a TD, I will fade them.
