Here are a few dogs I'm looking at. I haven't made them plays yet but for shits and giggles it's always fun to throw a little ML action. Unfortunately, Heritage seems to not put out a lot of high dogs ML's until late if not at all.


Georgia State +39 vs WVU... Can WVU's offense put up 39 points??

New Mexico +22 vs Pitt... Pitt's defense looked horrible. New Mexico is a running team, which Pitts struggles more against the pass but this team has issues. Will almost an extra week help?

Tennessee +28 vs Oregon... Tennessee just doesn't have the team speed but can they put up points on offense to cash the large spread? I kinda like UT first half as Oregon tends to start slow. Plus an early start on the west coast tends to not have the crowd support.

Southern Miss +22 vs Arkansas... Arkansas is still inconsistent to me but SoMiss is a train wreck. I don't see them having a chance to cash ML but a team like Arkansas could feel the pressure and implode.

Tulsa +24.5 vs Oklahoma... Another game where a team like OU could feel pressure early and implode. I don't trust the offense which means they have to play very close to the vest. Tulsa had a nice win over Colorado State after the BG debacle. They are a pretty solid MAC team that could bite as a dog here.

Purdue +21 vs ND... I already mentioned this game. Another situation where the offense (ND) isn't consistent enough to be relied on. Purdue took a step back with a new system but will the light bulb turn on?

Western Mich +31 vs Northwestern... NWU has been playing very good ball BUT don't they always shit the bed in games you don't expect? They still keep teams hanging around and never seem to put them away. NWU should take care of business but you never know when they are looking ahead.

UTSA +26 vs Arizona... Hmmnm, this game may be a play for me. UTSA is a freaking scrappy bunch. They piss you off with their offense. The QB is very underrated IMO and is getting better every week. Az really impressed me against UNLV but how legit is UNLV? How well can UTSA play on the road at night is a big question but this team can put up points when they are clicking and can milk clock which helps cover a large line.

Mac, talk me out of Rice -6.5. Been considering it as a big play. Just feel like I'm missing something. They should run all over Kansas.

Also, is the line delay for Texas/Ole Miss due to Ash & Johnson's injuries, the D-Coord. getting shit canned? Combo of both? Ready to hop on Ole Miss and the over unless it's sky high.

I've got to take Ole Miss here. Other than it being on the road and them making mistakes for being young, this is a great spot for them to punch UT while they're down. UT's offense is suspect and the defense is smarting after an ass whooping. Heritage has Ole Miss +2.5, I took them +120 ML.

Their site had a lot of problems last year. You couldn't log on prior to a lot games, had to use alternate mirror sites, which was a pain in the ass to keep up with. Here's what I like and I've put a little on all these so far.

Minnesota -24 vs W. Illinois (Too much for W. Illinois to weather)
Youngstown St +25.5 vs Michigan St (This team is no slouch, & Mich St has the case of the USC scoring)
Bowling Green +3 vs Indiana (Tough one, but Indiana has no run D, as we saw last week)
Western Kentucky -9.5 vs South Alabama (So many turnovers last week against Tenn, should roll here)
Oregon -27.5 vs Tenn (Oregon's QB is amazing, offense keeps rolling, D is not too bad either)
Louisiana Monroe +3.5 vs Wake Forest (More offense than Wake can handle)
Rice -6.5 vs Kansas (I hope Rice destroys Kansas)
N. Illinois -28 vs Idaho (This team is really good, hope they don't pull starters early, but Idaho is horrid)
Utah -3 vs Oregon St (Multiple O-Line starters out for OSU and starting LB is out I believe also)
Arizona -26 vs UTSA (Arizona is running Rich Rod's hurry up spread and they can put on the points)
Texas A&M +7.5 vs Bama (Just think they can score enough & Bama's offense won't score every time)
Navy -16 vs Delaware (Navy rolling with option attack. Don't see the Fightin Blue Hens stopping them)
o59.5 Navy vs Delaware (45-21?... more?)
Louisville -13.5/-13 vs Kentucky (UL great on both sides of ball, and they want this game)
Illinois +10 vs UDUB (Soldier Field) (Can't beat +10 &, this isn't being played in Seattle)
o63 Illinois vs UDUB (Soldier Field) (All they do is both score points.)
u43 /USC vs BC (How bad is USC's offense? Worst I've seen in forever)

Looking at these:

o60 Bama vs A&M (Should be a shoot out, not sure if they can really stop each other, I know A&M won't, so they will need to score and I see it being in the 30s for both teams.

Nicholls St +26 vs UL Lafayette (If Nicholls gets their #1 starting QB back who has been out since Week 1 with a concussion then I'll take the points. If not, they are on the #4, who can't pass worth crap, but he can scramble. I think he's going to play, just sure, Beaux Hebert (Bobby Hebert's son)

i see another following had the fade MSU low scoring offense as big favourite. i like it, even against FCS (i think it was FCS... youngstown state)..

i'm also liking GT -8.5 @ duke. GT is powerful high scoring system. duke is really going to miss renfree. see win over memphis last week. and i think their defense buckles as the offense suffers.

i might have missed it, but i haven't seen you on the "game of the century". gotta like bama i think.

I keep going back and forth on this BC +14 at USC game. Who the hell are these teams?? I don't trust USC's offense which makes this 14 look like a gift but will BC screw up and score TD's for USC via pick 6's and fumbles? I'm liking BC but can't pull the trigger.

i basically agree... although i think BC had a great game from running back last week, so maybe the coach has things working somewhat. the problem with BC apparently has been they don't have the talent for the coach's system...

i was leaning UNDER but i might just do BC and the points.

Not football related BUT, I love Floyd Mayweather Saturday night. Canelo is not in the same league. Canelo will come into the fight fairly heavy once hydrated which means he will be even slower than he already is. He will try to cut the ring off on Floyd but FM is a master at controlling the ring.

The line has wavered between -270 to -290. Wait right up to fight time as all the Mexican nickle and dimers drive the line up. Also look at the Under 11.5 rounds and Mayweather win by TKO. TKO was paying 5 to 1 at some shops. I like Mayweather to make a statement in this one. He is no dummy. He picks and chooses his opponents very carefully. He sees Canelo, like I see him. A slow, plodding, boxer that does not have the defensive skills nor the technique and stamina to go 12 rounds with Money May. If I can break his game down, you better believe Mayweather has.

Don't fall for the trap. Every fighter Mayweather fights is built up to have a great shot to beat him by fight night. A few minutes into the fight it becomes real clear that the fighter isn't in the same class. Mayweather was born and bred to be a fighter. His defense is the best in the business, his speed is insane and he has more power than most give him credit. He just hasn't taken a lot of chances in his career but as he gets older he understands the money aspect. Plus his father is going to want him to go for the TKO.

Yeah, but bad teams and catching +14 could be a good thing. I'm curious what the line will do. You expect the west coasters to drive it up but too many have got to feel burned.

I agree on enjoying TAM/Bama but this might be a good time to back the better QB. McCarron has not looked good thus far. Manziel should be better IMO.

Purdue is pure trash....don't do it! Kelly won't let ND sleepwalk which is the only way they don't roll. Love the Bengals pick....Steelers are done! What are your thoughts on Ttech and TCu tonite? I was really impressed with TTs fresh QB vs SMU and this doesn't look like one of TCUs better teams....although Gary Patterson is a great coach. I still think Lubbock is rocking with a young coach and +145 looks pretty tempting for atleast a small play.

Arkansas might get 50 themselves....9-1 Over in SMs last 10 road games. Indy has a great high speed offense (returning 10 offensive starters and 6 of top 8 receivers) and no def. whatsover. They had 14 straight Overs from 2011-2012 and both Over this year so far. Nothing ever changes defensively for my Hoosiers unfortunately.

Troy +7 -105 looks good for tonight. The teams seem pretty even to me and the QB for Troy is having a amazing start to the year. Already set the NCAA record when he was 30/32 against UAB.

Corey Robinson threw four touchdown passes and Troy racked up 531 total yards en route to a 66-3 victory over Savannah State on Saturday night.Robinson completed 17 of 19 passes and had 180 yards passing. He has now completed 47 of 51 (92%) passes this season.

Also Troy ML +250 also would be a dog play for me.

The o67 looks like the play, but that's basically 17 points per quarter. These teams lit it up last year for 75 total points in a close 41-34 Arkansas St win.

I'll play a little on all the above, but I'll be watching the Pats game to see if they can hit the over and see how good or bad Geno Smith really is, and also to watch Brady throw to Julian Edelman, Kendel Thompkins and now, and update TE Zach Sudfeld is inactive. I'm starting to like the under even more.

Tulane +7 -105 also looks like a nice play. Joe Montana's son is the QB there and they a team on the rise. The game is on the road, which does hurt as Ruston, LA is not a fun place to live, work or play. hah
But damn, looks like there is going to be a big crowd due to these two people being there.
