Jeff Driskel and Florida look like last year's team and the play calling by Florida's offensive coordinator Brent Pease was pathetic. They could have run outside on Miami all day, and instead, each time they would get 10 yards they decided to try and run it inside again, which netted 2 yards or a loss of 2. Even with all the turnovers Florida still could have won. I don't think you can ask much more of Florida's defense from the 2nd quarter on.

the florida game though was predictable in that florida would get 3 or 4 first downs and then go to shit...that's playing right in Miami's hands. By halftime I absolutely knew the cover was completely fukked....Miami may not have dominated them in time of possession or total yardage or whatever, but they dominated them in getting florida exactly where they wanted(making them convert tons of 3rd downs to keep drives going which florida just cant do)....I made an absolutely horrific play by taking florida. Late garbage td made it look closer than it really was as at no time in the 2nd half did I think florida had a chance to cover....hell I would have been shocked if driskel hadn't fukked up that last 3rd and 2.....Comment -

This should have been an easy cover. 6 trips in the redzone and you score only 6 points but also setup 6 points for Miami???
Driskel lost this cover/game. If I didn't know he sucked dick so much, I would say he was on the take. This was an easy win with any other guy playing QB. Very frustrating.
UF had a ton of 3rd and shorts. That's what you want. Miami's defenders were gassed in that second half but then Driskel would implode and kill drives. Muschamp was absolutely horse shit too. Going for 2 early when you can't even move the ball effectively? Calling timeouts early, poor defensive scheme early that he did adjust.
This was an abortion of a game.

UF's offense is horrible to watch. Just ugly football. Very predictable. They play very close to the vest so they don't have a big margin for error. I'm not sure if Pease is calling the shots or if Muschamp is managing him? I think it really comes down to the QB. Driskel is a spread guy trying to run a pro set. He's not a play action pocket passer but they are trying to force things with him IMO. UF has had the wrong QBs in the wrong offense. First Brantley and now Driskel. That's why I usually fade UF. But they should be able to cover -3 against Miami. Take away the mistakes and this was easy. Just kick FG's in the red zone and they cover. Hard to cap 5 stupid turnovers.

I really like this Mayfield kid for TT. I just never know if their defense will show up. SFA always leads in passing but they are pretty pathetic against FBS teams. I think defense may be optional today. I'd trust a Texas Tech team total more than anything, then a TT cover -35 then over 74.

sure you want a lot of 3rd and shorts *if* you have some big play ability...but if you're trying to pick up 3rd and 3's to get to your next 3rd and 3, that's a losing strategy because eventually you're bound to fukk it up....this wasn't some fluke that florida was able to move the ball a good bit in their territory and the middle of the field but had tons of stalls and tos(and some of the tos came on third down so probably fg attempts at best there) when it counted....additionally, yes driskel sucks but Im pissed at myself because I knew driskel was the qb going in. I can't tell myself 'good play, but driskel killed me'. It was a terrible play *because* driskel killed me. I hate it when I put myself in a position for shite players to cause me to lose my play there, which is exactly what happened there......Comment -
