Apparently Overeem had the urine test done by his own doctor and not at a testing facility.

#39Overeem has to test again in a lab (possibly the UK), test in the US, and then twice randomly over a 6 month period. Fight is a go unless he fails a test.Comment -

#42As expected, the remaining preliminary-card fights from this month's "UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem" event will stream live and for free on Facebook, UFC officials recently confirmed with MMAjunkie.com.
The four-bout stream precedes a pay-per-view main card and a two-bout Spike TV "UFC Prelims" special.Comment -

#47Sportbet/5dimes released it - bestfightodds is never instantaneous at putting them up...usually at least 10 minutes behind when bookmaker or bodog release lines and can be much longer when 5dimes/sportbet release. Trends are trends I guess.
One of our avitars will go down!
This fight will come down to if Lesnar can take Overeem down. I have 100% faith that he will and can, however it will only take one knee on the way for that takedown that will stun Brock and allow a swarm by Overeem for a stopage.Comment -

Without health concerns, I think this fight is rather close. Overeem has not faced a wrestler if I recall correctly, and one that is as quick and as high of a pedigree of Lesnar. I think Lesnar with a gameplan of closing the distance and Wall and stalling to zap some cardio out of Overeem has a good chance.
I have 1u on Overeem at -140 or so. I think Overeem can out muscle Lesnar and keep this standing; but, the health concerns, turtling, and motivation are my real reasons for picking Reem. I will arb out if given the opporrunity.Comment -

#57Probably a submission or split decision.Originally posted by proposition joePhan is pretty damn well rounded. How do you see Hettes winning?
Any way. Phan's got a good chin, but he's been KO'd a couple times.
He's not easy to finish, so it's likely to go to a decision, but The Kid is a submission expert, so I wouldn't be the least surprised if he locks Phan up in something.
4 rear naked chokes, 2 triangles, a guillotine, an armbar, and a heelhook. not a bad resume of finishes.Comment -

but against who... he was getting worked over by leroy until he finally caught him in round 2 and he doesn't have very good sub defense.Comment -

#61I agree. The question is, how much value is ENOUGH value? I don't think Hettes is better than plus 155 or so, which means I won't be playing despite seeing some value.Originally posted by gabeI wouldn't bet on Phan at such a juicy price. If someone gives you +100.01 on a coinflip you take it. The amount you bet is the only question.
Didn't your grandpa tell you to pick up the nickels on the sidewalk?
(Not saying I see value in the current Hettes line however)Comment -

#64I agree, I'd be on Phan over Hettes if I had to pick - as I said above I don't think Hettes will necessarily have a grappling advantage of Phan - the Caceres fight exposed his lack of experience and naivety in certain situations. Still definitely not playing Phan at current line though...may look at Phan by decision closer to fight time.Originally posted by brooks85seems like most people here like hettes, i personally just dont see it. #68I use a different money management system than you. Hettes will have to hit plus 230 on Bookmaker for me to be allowed to make a minimum play but I wouldn't play it still in this case because my gut was hoping for a good line on Phan and I only go against my gut if I have to make a medium or large play.Originally posted by NunyaBidnessWhat?

#69ya thats my take on it, though i do think hettes has a high ceiling and i am interested to see how his sparring payoffs. But i don't think hettes can catch up with phan come dec 30.Originally posted by VaughanyI agree, I'd be on Phan over Hettes if I had to pick - as I said above I don't think Hettes will necessarily have a grappling advantage of Phan - the Caceres fight exposed his lack of experience and naivety in certain situations. Lesnar took down Velasquez and it didn't help much. A wrestling background is great but you need solid ground-n-pound and submissions which Lesnar doesn't have. I don't see him laying on Overeem and staying there.Comment
