3rd Rd. was up for grabs...I had it 10-9 Phan.

Miller got some shots in but Phan was landing combos every round. Staggered Miller and Miller never adjusted to the left hook to the head.

Imo, Phan won that fight. He was consistently hitting Miller with those combos in all three rounds. Miller did connect solidly a couple times, but Phan landed the more significant shots throughout the fight. Phan also looked like he dictated the pace and had the octagon control. I don't see how anyone could have had Miller as the winner on the score cards. It was close, but imo, Phan won that fight.

Hard to tell with the judging sometimes. I mean some judge gave Manvel 30-27...how in the hell could you give him round 1? He got knocked down.

that was very early in the round, but i understand your point. should a knock down win you a round even though a fighter win the rest of the round? thats diffifult to score. i dont remember if manvel won the rest of the round decisively. if he did, and wasnt really hurt, i would have scored it to manvel, but thats doesnt mean im right. just one mans opinion. miller didnt win that fight under the unified rules. just another judge that cant do his job properly.

Everything else was pretty even. Therefore, I scored it as an auto 10-9 round for the Jap. Manvel ate the left that knocked him down and ate another later in the round that you could tell affected him.

But no, I didn't think Miller won that fight for a 2nd. You could even see how surprised Phan was when he realized it was going to be a split decision. Miller was outclassed by Phan.

Wasn't that kid he knocked out a highschool bully, who was picking on Nam, and making fun of the fact that he is asian? I thought I read somewhere that that bully challenged Pham to the fight, and Nam obliged. If you notice in the video, he stops hitting the dude once he hits the floor.. I am not a big fan of Nam, but that looked like both guys wanted to fight, Nam being the much smaller of the two..

in that case, na na na na na, you got koed. or something. ok..whole different story when it comes to rick. Mike pierce told ariel on mma hour for maybe 6 month ago, that a newbie wrestler that the last day had experienced dizziness, which is red flag in medicine for..god knows meniers disease, all sorts of cns/brain damage was koed by instructions of rick storys trainer. the trainer was pissed off since the newbie covered up when getting hit, a pretty typical thing to do, when developing into an mma fighter. This incident was so sickening pierce said, that he parted the gym same day.
