lol, I did that with Dos Santos and Velasquez to see who was faster in the octagon at the same time. It gave the illusion of both fighters, fighting in the octagon.
What I did was unorthodox. It worked, I won money off of Dos Santos win.

Highly doubt you'll find it anywhere but the Barao vs Leone fight from his WEC debut shows how good Barao's grapplin game is. Leone was doin very well in tht fight (and arguably winning). He took Barao down in first half and was doing ok in the striking. Then in the third he took Barao down again and Barao absolutely tooled him on the ground. I think he went for a heelhook and used tht to reverse position and end up on top then latched on to an armbar and Leone tapped out. Obviously Faber is a complete different level to Leone but shows tht Barao isnt a "duck out of water" when/if it comes to him being on his back.

Not on the broadcast...think I saw it on WEC website ages ago before Barao's fight with Cariaso

The lines gonna close with Faber around even. Cole Escovedo rocked Barao. Faber is the better striker and wrestler. Wherever the fight goes Faber has the advantage.

hmmm doubt he'll get much action.... he went from opening +170 against Aldo to +285 at fight time.

Moreover, Faber is much more of a "fan favourite" and more well known than Dominick Cruz yet went from -120 opener to +170 by fight time in their last fight

i woulda liked to get barao when it opened @ -120. now i have it as a no play. if faber gets over +200 i c value. i think barao takes a dec. most likely

I jumped on Barao at -170. This kid has all the tools necessary to win this fight imo. His ground game and grappling are top level. Barao is the superior striker, although he seems to get reckless at times, and that worries me. However, Faber isn't known for KOing guys standing, and I don't just don't see him subbing Barao. Pegado wins just like Cruz and Aldo and Brown did. GL this weekend everyone.

I like Vegh to beat Newton tonight...Vegh has been making his rounds on the Euro fight scene and fought pretty good competition..I think his more polished striking and range will win over Newton's attempts to have this hit the mat...i'll say Attila Vegh wins via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27,30-27)
