Some sneaky jiu-jitsu there from Bones Jones. Looks like he took a page from Ben Henderson. That was such a bait on Jones' part going for the standard rear naked and then countering with the modified choke.

Rashad has trained with the guy for a while. If anyone knows how to beat him, it's Rashad. Rashad might have the wrestling to do it. It will be the first and probably last time i'll ever root for Rashad Evans. Something about Jones i just don't like him.

I know exactly what you mean. I don't like jones either. I was very sad to see rampage tap out, but he did his best and it just wasn't good enough tonight.

jones isn't invincible. No fighter is. If any fighter has the ability to beat jones it is silva. Any of the decent heavy weights could beat him, but I think Silva could pull it off too.

That's true. Jones doesn't have that much power though. BUT, it doesn't take a lot of power if you land an spinning elbow or a head kick.
If Rashad has better wrestling then Jones, which he acts like he does (and he would know from training), then he has a better shot then anyone at beating Jones.
All that being said, i wouldn't be surprised if we are sitting here in 2 or 3 years and talking about Jones taking on the top heavyweights in the world b/c he cleaned out the LHW division.

Whoever said Jones could beat Silva, i hate to say it, but i disagree. Jones is to big and his wrestling is to good. He would be scared and take Silva down and GNP his ass until they called it off.

well rashad is also definitely faster than rampage. Probably not has fast as he looked against him in their fight, imo page was obviously not in top shape, but rashad is still faster which is something new. Especially the way he strikes which is about completely oppposite of rua. Both are fast but very different strikers.

I think Rashad will be his toughest test as he'll be the first opponent who Jones has faced who comes anywhere near to him on an athletic and speed level. Look at all of Jones' opponents, they pretty much have all been slow plodders or at least guys who aren't fleet of foot and renowned for their speed & agility - Rampage, Shogun, Janitor, Vera, Hamill, O'Brien, Bader & Bonnar. THe likes of Rashad and Machida will be very different. But still, Rashad may well have better wrestling but even if he did get Jones down what would he do? Jones would just pop right back up

Daniel Cormier said if he wins the Grand Prix and his team mate Cain Velasquez is UFC champ he'd consider moving to 205. He's the only guy i see on the horizon who might challenge Jones

Yeah I liked how did that, but do you think Rampage was maybe looking for a way out which might of helped?
