what the **** do i know at this point about fighting? APPARENTLY ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Villefort decides to act a fool when gassed...and Dan Hardy manages to outdo him in the foolishness category..and hand Lytle the one type of submission that would actually result in his own self destruction. Bravo Dan Hardy, you deserve to get cut. I'm certainly humbled, but not due to my ignorance, I'll put these past two on Adalaide & co, Villefort, and Hardy...but major props to Chris Lytle, huge respect for the guy, and SO smart of him to retire, and retire on top. Shame we won't get to see him battle some more of the greats in the UFC, but retiring with your dignity, sanity and the like is amazing.

Hardy won round 2 in my eyes as he rocked lytle twice. If he would of kept punching instead if going to the ground he could of pulled off round 3. If it wasn't for that eye poke i think hardy would of finished him in round 2.

i had him and i thought he needed a stoppage.....he was longer,threw straighter shots...but came up consistently short with his punches...that tells you he felt lytle`s power and it cowed him a bit...

he got hit with so many amateurish shots..........they say lytle`s a boxer...he`s not...he`s scott ledoux/tex cobb without the defense...he just wings shots from the floor....he has minimal skill...he`s just tougher than everybody.....

when hardy went for the takedown,he essentially was saying "no mas"....

not as steamed as i was after the challengers disaster...winning overall night, benderson came through, win and fight of the night. I'm glad I can't bet on NOT props, I really am. I would have thrown in not Lytle by sub on top of EVERY SINGLE BET as a parlay and gotten BURIED. It's still embarrassing as hell cause I spent the past week campaigning for that prop...I feel like an idiot, but I'm sure Hardy feels dumber.

EDIT: RIP Shawn Tompkins. By all accounts a great guy, great trainer..a real tragedy. My condolences to all of his friends and family

Had Lytle rd 1 hardy rd 2 hardy round 3 til he took it to the ground. All rounds were close though, not sure what the judges would've had. Lytle wins 130k + a Harley. Heckuva retirement gift

This UFC stuff can be brutal. -300 fighter gets absolutely punked, doesn't make much sense. If it was a couple good hits by the dog and took the fav out of his game sure, but to completely dominate the fight, crazy stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we saw a Henderson/Guida match in a couple of months. Clay's a whole lot quicker and better conditioned than Bocek or Miller. A different wrestler than Ben's faced before, it should make for an interesting match.
