fair enough. maybe im wrong, but i dont believe phil has faced a bjj player on vinny's level (please correct me if im wrong, i havent checked his fight history). i honestly think vinny is the top dog when it comes to the heavier weight classes. some of the slickest subs i've seen. so at a minimum think it will be an interesting style match up. im interested in whether phil is confident enough to take it to the ground, or is he going to make it an ugly stand up affair.

Most people who make their living off gambling don't do so by betting on combat sports. I presume this is because they don't want to be restricted to 1 market and also the small stake limits as compared to football/soccer/racing. I really don't know much about Fight Ghost or Ghost Kid, except being aware that he's quite knowledge about the books.

I would imagine if you were a fairly normal, well adjusted MMA bettor you might find this forum, read a few threads and be impressed with some of the discussion and analysis.... Then discover pages of posts that literally look like they've been randomly assembled by a faulty computer, with random references to rape and racial insults and decide against bothering to sign up.

In some ways it's interesting, having a couple of seemingly retarded trolls may keep the new members limited, but perhaps it is a good thing. Often with too many contributing members in each thread your own points can be lost in a sea of virtually identical posts from generic posters. In a smaller online community you at least get the opportunity to figure to what everyone is about. Maybe the forum needs a troll.
