#8444Soccer plays:
Brest PK @ -149 at home to Bastia (France Ligue 1):
Brest despite being 16th in the league actually have one of the best home records. They have played 5 games so far winning 4 and drawing one with zero losses, scoring 8 and conceding 3 goals. Bastia meanwhile are a couple places above Brest and have an away record of 1 win, 2 draws and 3 losses, scoring 9 and conceding 15 goals. The critical aspect in this game though is the problem Bastia have at the moment with injuries and suspensions. Key players such as Palmieri (11 appearances, 1 goal), Yatabare (11 apps), Choplin (9 apps), Jerome Rothen (11 apps, 2 goals), Cioni (5 apps), Marchal (12 apps, 1 goal), & Ilan (5 apps, 1 goal) are all unavailable. Bastia still have some dangerous players up front in Maoulida, Khazi, & Modeste but I'd be very surprised if Brest don't score a couple today and get their 5th home win of the season or at very worst a draw.
St. Etienne PK @ -181 away at Evian (France Ligue 1), & Over 2 goals @ -190:
St. Etienne are in great form, going 9 games unbeaten and winning 4 in a row including impressive wins away at PSG, Sochaux, and comfortable home victories against Rennes, and Troyes. Evian meanwhile have only won 1 game at home this season and scored 0 and conceded 6 goals in their last two home matches against Toulouse and Lille. Desire to play St. Etienne in this one is enhanced by fact that Evian are going to be without their top scorer and most dangerous player in Khelifa who has scored 5 goals in 6 games this season, and also without second-top goal scorer and Team Captain Cedric Barbosa (9 apps, 3 goals). Those two together have scored 8 out of the 13 total goals scored by Evian this season so clearly are going to be a significant loss. Two of Evian's defenders are out as well in Mensah (6 apps), & Mongongu(8 apps). Also played the Over 2 goals at -190 (smaller), St. Etienne could score 2 or 3 themselves, while Evian even without Barbosa and Khelifa may be able to score 1 goal. There has been at least 2 goals in every Evian home game this season, and at least 2 goals in every away game that St. Etienne have been involved in.
Tottenham PK @ +200 away at Arsenal, & Over 3 goals @ +103:
The big North London derby, both teams have key players missing or players who are going to be playing despite not being close to a 100%. I think this will probably be a draw but at +200 the Spurs PK line is worth a small play. Just gotta hope that Gareth Bale shows up and maybe they can put in a performance like they did away at Man Utd earlier in season when they won 3-2.
Milan to score Over 1 goal @ +114 away at Napoli (Italy Serie A):
Napoli are solid at home but have conceded in every home game except two against Lazio and Chievo. Their defense isn't very good and Milan should be able to score at least 1 goal (would be a push if 1 goal is scored). Milan have scored at least 1 goal in every league away match this season.
Catania to score Over 1.5 goals @ +107 at home to Chievo (Italy Serie A):
At the moment I'm small on this but may add more tomorrow before the game when I see what teams are out. Catania are solid at home, 4 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss: 11 goals scored, 4 conceded. Their only loss was to league leader Juventus, and only draw to 3rd in league Napoli where they had only 10 men on pitch for 90 minutes of the game. Catania whooped Lazio 4-0 in their last home game. Chievo on the other hand are very poor away from home with 5 losses in 5 games, scoring just two goals and conceding 14 so conceding on average 2.8 goals every away game.Last edited by Vaughany; 11-17-12, 07:28 AM.Comment -

Tottenham scored early through Adebayor then he went and got sent off so I played Arsenal -1 A.H. By half time Arsenal were 3-1 up so both the Over 3 and -1 were good. Added Arsenal -0.5,-1 A.H. live-in-play as I expected Arsenal to score a couple more. They did score a couple more but also conceded so -0.5,-1 only partially hit (match ended 5-2). So £312.48 profit in total so far today...

#8447UFC 154 plays so far:
Philippou at -200 was my main play but obviously voided now. Also had Fight goes distance in a treble with Not Condit by Sub and Not Yusaf Mack inside so that parlay is fuucked now as well. Other than that I have GSP by decision at -150 (may hedge with Condit TKO/KO just before fight if line improves as I expect GSP will get some late action). Also a double of Hominick & Carmont but not as confident in that as I was when I did it. Carmont does still have some holes in his game and does seem to get a bit casual at times which a tough reasonably experienced guy like Lawlor may be able to exploit. And Garza looked huge compared to Hominick at weigh-ins, although Garza doesn't really use that size advantage as well as he could as he isn't a smothering type grappler who looks to bully his opponent. Hominick's pace, experience and cardio should be enough, but have also played Garza in Rnd 1 at +875. Also have Stout at -205 and Fight goes Distance at -215...I don't think Makdessi will finish Stout but could out-point him on feet if Stout doesn't use similar strategy to Fisher fight and goes back to just standing & banging. Cote/Sakara to Not Go the Distance at -190 and Sakara by Decision at +975, Dos Anjos/Bocek to Go the Distance at -175, and a treble parlay of Dos Anjos, Pearson, & Weidman are my other plays. Also risk free plays on Maguire and Bocek, but mainly doing these to try and shift some money to WH from Pinnacle so wouldn't mind if Riddle and Dos Anjos won (plus I have Dos Anjos in a parlay!). Either way it covers the Dos Anjos parlay in case Bocek does win.
Originally wanted to play Carvalho but this line is way too steep. He should be the better striker, he's sparring day in day out with some high-level Muay Thai/Kickboxing practictioners such as Joe "Bazooka" Valtellini who is one of the top guys out there currently (finished Mir and Hardy's striking coach Yarbrough in his last fight). Damn is obviously a solid grappler though and fact is he may of gone on to win TUF Brazil for all we know had he not been pulled from the fight, and if he had his odds certainly wouldnt be at the +270 or whatever we are seeing him at currently. If I did play this it would be on Damn at these odds but Im gonna stay away.Last edited by Vaughany; 11-17-12, 05:52 PM.Comment -

#8456Soccer plays for tonight:
Orduspor PK @ +110 at home to Trabzonspor (Turkey Superliga);
Turkish league is always a big dodgy to bet on, partly due to players being a bit erratic leading to lots of yellow cards and sending offs which can change a game, and plus match-fixing is rife! Nonetheless I like the value in this play tonight. Orduspor have the best home record in the league with 4 wins, 1 draw and 0 losses, scoring 11 and conceding 4 goals. Last season they only lost 3 out of 17 home games in the Superliga. Trabzonspor meanwhile have not won a game yet away from home, drawing 3 and losing 2. They are under-performing this season as they do have one of the better squads in the league but haven't been able to get the win away from home to accompany their solid home form which is joint second best in league along with leaders Galatasary. They have struggled to score goals with only 4 goals scored away from home (second worst in league) with star striker Marc Janko yet to get off the mark in 9 appearances. In last couple games things have been looking better with Polish attacking midfielder Adrian pulling the strings and scoring 2 goals in 3 appearances since his return from injury. However, Adrian injured himself in training this week and won't be playing in the game tonight which should prove to be a big loss as it will dent their momentum and creative attacking threat considerably. This loss is compounded by the absence of star midfielder Didier Zokora who went AWOL after not returning from International Duty and has been given special absence for a few days. If those two were playing I would not be making this play. I might end up kicking myself for not playing the under 2.5 which would cover in case the game is a 0-0 or 1-1 draw which I think is probably most likely result, as even without Zokora and Adrian, Trabzonspor could still snatch a draw if they defend solidly, and still have dangerous experienced players in Marek Sapara, Marc Janko, Halil Altintop, & Gustavo Colman. However, I'm counting on Orduspor carrying on their excellent home form and getting a 1-0 or 2-1 win, and doing it in honour of their Coach Hector Cuper who celebrated his Birthday last Friday and said that the perfect present would be 3 point tonight!
Parlay (treble): Racing Club PK, Hertha Berlin PK, & Orduspor/Trabzonspor Under 3.5 goals.... pays out @ +106.Last edited by Vaughany; 11-19-12, 09:58 AM.Comment -

#8463Other plays for tonight and Champions League tomorrow:
Roma/Torino Under 3.5 goals @ -124 & Torino to Score Over 1 goal @ -127 (Serie A);
Very small on these as Roma do have most attacking style in the league, however I just have a feeling that Torino may be able to keep the goals down tonight and maybe snatch one themselves. Could see a 1-1 or 2-1 win for Roma.
Man Utd to Score Over 1 goal @ -130 away at Galatasary;
This could be a dumb play seeing as Man Utd have already qualified from the group and are putting out a second-string team against a team in Galatasary who really need a win and are playing in the hostile stadium known as "Hell"! But all the pressure is on Gala while Man U can just go out and play freely and hopefully snatch a couple goals. Even without Van Persie and Rooney, the strikeforce of Welbeck, Hernandez and Young behind can still be dangerous...all three would probably make Gala's starting line-up if they played for them! Gala have been poor recently and I made money betting against them at wknd with Karabukspor +1 A.H. Karabukspor went and won 3-1 on Gala's home turf.
Chelsea to Score Over 0.5,1 goals @ -138 away at Juventus;
I'm a big Juve fan but I just have a feeling that we are going to slip up tomorrow and maybe if we are lucky get a draw. Could def see Chelsea scoring on the counter. I'm very tempted to also play Chelsea +1 A.H. at -169 as I'd be very surprised if Juve win by more than 1 goal.
Valencia to Score Over 1 goal @ -130 at home to Bayern Munich;
Valencia are very solid at home, unbeaten this season, and Bayern aren't particularly strong defensively. Valencia should be able to score at least one goal, and maybe 2, as long as Bayern continue their style of playing attacking football.
Lille to Score Over 1 goal @ +102 away to Bate;
Lille are out of competition so have nothing to lose. They can go out and hopefully play attacking football and just try and regain some pride.Comment -

Valencia to Score Over 1 goal @ -130 at home to Bayern Munich;
Valencia are very solid at home, unbeaten this season, and Bayern aren't particularly strong defensively. Valencia should be able to score at least one goal, and maybe 2, as long as Bayern continue their style of playing attacking football.
Lille to Score Over 1 goal @ +102 away to Bate;
Lille are out of competition so have nothing to lose. They can go out and hopefully play attacking football and just try and regain some pride.Comment -

Barcelona -1.5 A.H. @ -122 away at Spartak Moscow;
Initially not keen on this play as it is always risky backing a team from a place like Spain playing in sub-zero place like Russia against a solid team. However, after seeing that Spartak have some key players out with injury and suspension I've pulled the trigger on the Asian Handicap. Firstly, they have goalkeeping issues with two main keepers out. Also their best central defender Pareja (10 appearances, 2 goals) is suspended. Then they have midfielders Romulo (4apps 1 goal), McGeady (8apps 2 goals), Bilyaletdinov (11apps, 3 goals) all out injured, and Ananidze and Welliton are doubtful to play. Barca meanwhile only have Alexis Sanchez and Marc Bartra out, while Puyol is back which is a big plus defensively and is the kind of experienced player that Barca need in a tricky match like this. I'm thinking Barca will go out to win this game to guarantee qualification and top place in group so that they can rest players in their last final home match against Benfica...I think Barca will win 2-0 or 3-1.
