You DO know how to read, right? Everything about my analysis came from the standpoint and understanding that Pro wrestling is a staged event, with pre-determined outcomes, and had NOTHING to do with either wrestler's skill and/or ability. If you can't comprehend that, you're dumber than the person you think I am that DOESN'T ACTUALLY pay $50 to watch a PPV.Originally posted by DirtyX
You do know that the WWE, i.e. Pro wrastling is fixED right? As in, it's fake, not real, bogus. The outcome is predetermined before the fight (or whatever the hell you call this crap) even begins. One would have to be beyond retarded to pay $50.00 plus to see this event, and even dumber to bet on the on it. Just saying.
My bad Gabe, I forgot the whole world revolves around your perception of what's "cool" these days; and judging by your avatar, if it ain't about blunts and sucking up to a Diaz brother, it ain't cool.Originally posted by gabe
Yup...
why the hell are we talking about WWF? This ain't 1996.
You kinda sorta got it. Key words being kinda sorta.Originally posted by SatoActually there is something interesting about WWE betting.
If you're able to see the setup of future feuds and why this guy has to lose because it makes no sense that the other guy loses...its free money baby!
The text above from spargament makes very much sense although Im not familiar with WWE.
Way different situation at Wrestlemania, the Rock brings revenue and an amount of PPV buys along with what I believe is more credibility than Lesnar just from his celebrity status. Legitimizing a company that puts on staged events is MUCH more about it being accepted by the mainstream than it is about convincing those who already know that they are watching something staged that their understanding is incorrect. Once you know wrestling is fake ( ages 6-13 for most ), nothing is going to convince you otherwise. Rock also brought in merch money that just about any current star including Lesnar could never match. Additionally, the relationship between the Rock and McMahon and the other higher ups at WWE has NEVER been strained the way Lesnar's almost always seems to be. Rock worked 4 or 5 PPV matches and made so many more appearances prior to WM than Lesnar does on average per month, and almost EVERYONE with access to a dirt sheet knew WM wasn't going to be the Rock's final match in a ring.Originally posted by PunisherIND
agree that spargament makes a great argument, but the same could have been said about the rock vs john cena and the rock ended up winning that match. but i dont know shit about this shit.
Even discounting all of those things, Cena, (and as the Internet Wrestling Community commonly refers to him in a disparaging manner as) Super Cena was growing stale even with casual fans, and only something as drastic as jobbing him to a 'movie star' at Wrestlemania would change the fan's perception of a guy who probably won't ever 'turn heel' as his merchandise sells RIDICULOUSLY well to a demographic in women and children that don't buy heel merchandise and memorabilia.Comment -

Got £820 on Burroughs at moment to win £1790 at moment. Also got a risk free play on Tsargush as back up to win £270. I may by back a bit more on Burroughs Not to Win Gold if goes back down to -130 or something so that I have 500 at risk.Comment -

#7333Nice. You got anything on the Oly boxing? I have a flier on Berinchyk to win Gold and also Anthony Joshua. I wasn't too confident in Joshua after his first fight but things are looking okay now - Medzhidov and Cammerelle were both just in gruelling bouts where they didn't look great. I think that if he gets past Dychko he will win it - whether he can do that however I don't know. His head movement hasn't looked great and Dychko uses his range really well.Originally posted by VaughanyNice, I was gonna go this Friday but cant get out of work as everybody has already booked time off at this time of year

#7338Took Stalker in the light welterweight at +650 a few weeks back, was kind of an action bet as I don't know much about his competition but he's the number 1 ranked amateur in his weight class so can't be to bad of a bet.
Also have Katie Taylor in a few parlays (obviously right
) at -300 ish. No one on her level at all. Should have gone big but meh.
