My teammate had a fight down in Florida. I went to train at ATT, which is a great gym. I have nothing against that gym. Ijust had a beef with Hector Lombard. It was grappling time, and he asked me to wrestle him. I was like, ‘Alright, whatever.' So I went over and we got our own little mat area like the size of acircle on a regular mat. We started wrestling. I was doing collar ties, and then all of a sudden, he karate chopped me in the side of the neck. I was like, ‘Alright.' I didn't know what the hell was going on, but he didn't like what I was doing. I didn't really take any shots because Ifelt that he was kind of a spaz. Then all of a sudden, he pushes me away and punches me in the face with no gloves on or nothing. I had a fight in three weeks. I was fighting Danny Castillo in three weeks. I was like, ‘Aw, Jesus.' He wanted to fight me right there and then, right in the gym. There was one of his coaches there that had to stop it. Judging from his last UFC fight, I think I could take him."

Burroughs style is one of the most adaptable to freestyle I've seen come out of the U.S. in the last few Olympics. Constant offensive pressure and minimal reliance on scrambling. Haven't been this excited to watch an individual wrestler since Sanderson was on the squad.

ha To be honest I had low expectations on meeting the quota!

I saw first couple pages of the Bowman thread, quite entertaining! Beelze forwarded me on the message you sent him - my PM "privileges" have been disabled by SBR because I committed the ultimate sin of giving out my email!

Id of gone big on Varner at the opener, was only able to put £11 on him at +175 on paddy. He has the boxing, cardio and wrestling advantage IMO. I may still go quite big on him and hedge with Lauzon by submission or SOTN if I can get it.

He had these advantages in other fights too and lost ie roller, Corrine who took him down more than dfc puts Fosho down (emotionally speaking)

Ill be on lauzon by sub I feel like Varner is getting line hype for koing Edson
