As a firm lover and traveler of the region, you REALLY must check out the 'Isla de Mujeres'.
Its about a 20 minute ferry ride from the main island of cancun to this little tiny sub island...
MUCH cheaper than cancun, better beaches, solid snorkeling area, friendly locals who seem a bit more relaxed / hippy ish, and some of the best bbq fish I've ever had. The second time I went I bought a tent and just camped on this secluded and empty beautiful beach.
IF you go there rent a golf cart for like 50 bucks for the day and it will take you anywhere on the island in 15 minutes. You can cruise around and go on adventures discovering little nooks and empty beaches, etc, on these golf carts (and there is nothing against drinking and driving there so grab a 12 pack of tecate and you're golden son! Not that I promote d & d but as you'lll see - the island is pretty empty once you get out of the harbor so ain't bad driving round in the cart with a beer in one hand and your lady's thighs in the other!). I wish I could remember the exact name, but ask the locals for this little restraunt on the beach there on the isla de mujeres that serves REALLY good fresh bbq fish- some of the best fish I've ever had and its super cheap... Its kind of hidden and a locals place, but man great service, food and location at this place - ask around and drive around and you should find it (I think it was by some shitty little motel...). IF you got the time check out this island for a day or two, you won't regeret it V!!! Have fun, be safe, don't do too much blow, don't flaunt your money or you'll disappear, and double wrap it Peace!

yea dude its amazing how close it is and how easy it is to get over there...
And I regrett to say I've never been to Tulum but have heard nothing but GREAT things about it as you've described...And yea V if you don't have a hotel booked for the week you should look into staying a night on the island, perhaps meet some bronzed mexi babe, grab a tent w/some cerveza and camp on the beach for free!! Def jealous of V right now, wish I was going to cancun on rhonda's dime haha!!!

I didn't either. That line is crazy. I was hopping on the Poirer train after the Grispi fight, but since then he hasn't fought anyone decent. He really isn't GREAT at any one thing. This has pretty close decision written all over it.

its so far away..
but i locked up the max parlay amount on jung with jones and jones/rory mac
you're right... zombie has got both the skills and the fans to get plenty of action. probably drop significantly... even to like +170 or so

yea, i hate locking up funds on these fights that are months away (i played a unit on faber, which is even further away). but its hard to resist when you can catch the openers.

when the events are far away but i like the line..i tend to not play SU and have so much $$ locked up
locking up a good line with a parlay seems to be a common and effective strategy
im not really feeling the faber play. dont think the line is a steal and worth hitting now. you could probably get a similar faber dec later even if the SU line drops.
hopefully you're right thouhg...as i'd love to get cruz at a better price

I love the faber line. The 2nd fight was razor close, I was on cruz and thought faber actually won. Faber could finish him, cruz will not finish.

Anybody who thinks Cruz vs Faber II was close is outta their minds. I had money on Cruz and was confident throughout, and when re-watching the fight last week, I think I had Cruz winning every single round. At least 4.

I think the poirer/jung line is close to where it should be. The korean zombie is garbage. Hominick thought he could walk right through him and was clipped. I'm usually one to defend the fighters who have been accused of just getting lucky, but in this case I really do think that it was hominicks poor defense and complete lack of mental concentration and over looking jung completely (similar to guillard/lauzon) while jutting into the punch that resulted in what happened. I dono if anyone's watched a lot of zombie footage, but he has horrendous stand up, with just pure awful technique. I highly doubt he will have any kind of advantage on the ground. This is juice I'm willing to pay for in favour of poirer. On a side note I like faber at plus money all day.

I thought it was a pretty close fight. Dominic landed more and had a couple takedowns. But Faber had the heavier strikes, knocked him down several times, and didn't take much damage on the ground.
