Will playn Starts Round 2 straight up or in a couple of parlays, or Over 1.5 rnds. When you have a favourite over -400 who is aggressive and has finishes they usually offer the over 1.5 rnds. Hell, even Stungun/Pierson was -180 for Over 1.5 which was a gift in hindsight and should have had it in more parlays. Palhares is big favourite and bookies will expect him to make light work of Massenzio with a submission so should be able to get Starts Round 2 at decent value as a hedge in a couple parlays.

Considering the fact that Jardine has never been in a 5 round fight, is cutting to 185 for the first time since high school, and usually looks like he is going to pass out after a 15 minute fight - I would probably call this bet incredible.

Ahh should of gone with my gut and played Burrell! All three Strikeforce plays hit though so +0.664 units profit for the night and the two parlays still alive.

Not necessarily, I think he can win and if he does will most likely be by TKO/KO in first round if not second (as Gabe and Overeem said!) so at +315 I'll take that (especially when inside distance is +220, highly doubt he subs Belfort). Will most likely be playing Belfort KO of the Night and Submission of the Night though and have fight won't start Round 3 in parlay as well.

1) How do you feel about him cutting weight? I know Forrest had a tough time in Brazil and they are cutting roughly the same amount of weight.
2) For everyone - what US books allow parlays? I use Bookmaker and Betonline as of now and neither do

You mean Rumble? Well it should be his easiest cut yet seeing as it's 15lbs less than he usually has to cut! The travel aspect undoubtedly makes it harder but knowing that he doesn't have to make 170 should make it easy for him in comparison.

Sportbet/5dimes is best one for parlays.

Certainly won't get better odds on either of those. Stranger things have happened, Aldo might re-find his finishing touch in front of his home crowd and Mendes' confidence/adrenaline might wilt when he actually enters the octagon. But then same could be said for Rumble who is still young and raw and might bottle it once he gets to the octagon (as Schaub did against Nog after acting so confident leading up to the fight). Belfort is training with GSP. But Johnson is training with Evans and a few others. I like Johnson to win this fight.

I'm going to place a large bet on Johnson.

Reach advantage, Age advantage, he's like Belfort when he was younger and in his prime, never been knocked out compared to Belfort who has been.
Belfort only has the home advantage, which is a small factor in MMA compared to team sports.

Johnson looks like a potential future elite fighter like GSP, Silva and Jones.
