Call me Crazy....but I feel O Malley lacks the grit and toughness.....his chin has not been properly tested IMO...I would give Omalley wildness and length....but overall technical advantage ....honestly NO.....Omalley is fun to watch but as the competition gets tougher and they stopping picking opponents that fit RIGHT into his style he is going to start losing...I feel Vera OWNS this fight in every aspect....skills, toughness, experience.....heart........

This will be a war...I like Omalley-I hope he does well..... No reason to dislike the guy-I just feel the hype has gotten a tad out of control and its disrespectful to give 1.5:1 on a guy like Vera....this should be Vera -145 IMO.... We have seen what Vera can do-its on paper---with Omalley your somewhat guessing and my guess is NO-this WILL be his toughest fight---Vera-its water he has been in before--nothing new..... Doubtful he quickly rolls Vera....A guy that has not been KO'd/TKO by anyone in 18 fights....I just cant justify Omalle as that big of a fav.....its just the name.....how diff would this line be if souk simply stood up in the 3rd round....

really hope askren getting his face smashed. He really should only be allowed to fight demian maia, this way it can neutralize their one and only skill they have.

Was impressed with the way Askren survived when Lawler dumped him on his head and landed multiple huge shots on him. If he can avoid getting KOd I think he'll win.

True, and after the way he KOd Till I am concerned about his striking too. I think Askren gets it done but only have 2 units on it as I'm not super confident.

Any reads on the Diego Sanchez vs Michael Chiesa fight? I want to say Michael Chiesa submission but Diego Sanchez is a tough bastard and might make it to a decision.

Interesting angle. Sanchez has never been submitted in his whole career so you might get a good price. Also, he recently left Jackson-Wink which surprised me.

Did anyone else happen to notice how absolutely ripped Holly Holm is looking for this fight? With Nunez talking about being in a drunk stupor for weeks celebrating her Cyborg win, this looks to be an extremely great spot to take a flier on the underdog. I think it's a great matchup for Holm anyways. She understands distance in the fight and has superior defense and fight IQ. The two things missing from Cyborg's last game plan.

I imagine the Masvidal vs Mia fight would be good tape to watch to understand how this one is likely to play out on their feet.

Chiesa too big for him, only way i see him losing if he gasses... should control this fight though
looks much bigger and healthier at 170 and Diego is far past his prime with terrible striking ... should be a fun fight though

Do you favour Masvidal in this matchup? If so, why? I put a small bet on Masvidal because I felt the odds should be tighter. Is this stylistically a bad matchup for Askren?

Yeah, I figure it might be a Michael Chiesa decision win the more I analyzed it. It's only a 3 round fight. Guess we will see soon!

No I think Askren will outwrestle him in a close fight. Far tougher matchup for Askren then someone like Covington or Till

agreed, id say Chiesa decision is the most likely outcome here

and 3 rounder Askren gonna lay on Masvidal the entire time, decision win again
