Paiva the favorite now. Good gamble from me to bet Paiva. Took me 5 minutes to cap.

Dog due factor. Kara-France won cuz his opponent sucked last time (Only fight I seen from both) . 18-1 record Paiva + reach/size advantage when entering cage.

Couldnt agree more, Karafrance looked only slightly better on tape, clearly dog or pass.

I think that was the wrong dec. Paiva was better, made kara frances punches look completely without power

No such thing as a good bet if it loses. Why bet against hometown judges and a guy that looks slightly better? That's like double chance you lose.

It depends...if you get a lottery ticket to one dollar with 50/50 chances of winning a billion dollar, and you lost, was that a bad bet?

I think if you get a fighter to -300, and you think he barely.....BARELY is going to win...if he wins or not, youre going to loose next event..the event after that, so the consequences will be losing money.

In this specific instance, off course, you can pat yourself on the back, but not in the long run

Do fighters fighting in hometown usually win or lose decisions? I think in the long run they usually win.

Youre isolating the whole conversation around the hometown-argument, and i agree, if that is the only thing that matters to you.

For me, i try to find the best fighter, if he only is slightly better and super expensive, like for instance -300 then youre going to looose in the long run.

Thats my point.

I think fighting in your hometown means at least 50% of the fight especially if you think it's going to a decision. I really thought it would go to a decision and feel the better fighter one. I admit the other guy did look a little better in the fight though. Really did not think he would win decision though.

Wasnt a big robbery. But I never thought that paiva was really bad. So Kara france has a typical sweet style, he looks good, aesthetically + he looked good against a bad fighter. So easy to get fooled, one should always be super careful with fighters who has this few fights in the ufc, its hard to get a grasp of the level. First now we know, ok so kara france isnt a top level fighter, he might be one day, good fundamentals, but a little bit small. Paiva for all we know may be a little bit better, or not, so...-300 in that spot, i have lost so much money on these types of matchups.
