My takeaway from that fight is that it's probably best just not to bet Alcantara's fights going forward. Talk about inconsistent.

I really like Machida.. A good guy and might be the most classiest guy in the UFC today.. Never talks smack.. I hope he doesn't get knocked out to bad tonight..

Machida is a hall of famer for sure win or lose.. A great example of how a fighter should behave and act in MMA...

It would show under edit history and they can disqualify you. Still it should be locked.

Tim Means has 9 losses. 4 via sub. Means could have a deficit in that area which plays to Moraes strengths as a multiple time world champion in brazilian jiu jitsu.

Is anyone going to laugh if Moraes submits him?

Moraes could definitely submit him. He has excellent submission skills. But how does he get it to the mat? Moraes doesn't really fight to his strengths.

That's what I was thinking. Feel tempted to go heavy on Means, who looks like a lock.

Moraes is moving stiff these days. I wonder if he's getting injured training in brazil like Jacare.

Marlon Vera looked super out of it and tentative in his last fight with Lineker and I remember his corner and him did not seem to be on same page. I am riding with Andrade De Silva here. Probably just playing it straight. Silva lost to Font and Font just destroyed Almeida.

I like De Silva as well. I guess Vera could catch him in a SUB, but his wrestling isn't anything special and I'm not impressed with his hands really.

Laid off this Means fight. I think he should win. I don't like the lack of TD ability Moraes has shown, but I'm not gonna lie, I have just a weird feeling about this one. Wouldn't be shocked at all to see Moraes win.

Vera's skillset isn't bad but there's no connective tissue between the things he does well. I.e. he is a good guard grappler with limited offensive wrestling and a decent range kicker who struggles to keep the fight at distance.
