UFC on Fox: Lawler vs. dos Anjos (December 16, 2017)

Haven't placed any bets yet and I'm getting some pretty bad lines on my book. Gonna be another conservative card for me.

Does anyone have a read on Roberts/Taleb? I think Roberts is a real fighter and only loses this bout if Taleb manages to catch him and hurt him. He does make himself quite hittable.

Outside of Cannonier and RDA this is looking like an all dog card similar to last one.

I like Anderson and Sanko a lot. Fighters often give biased analysis based on who they know and like rather than breaking things down from a technical standpoint.

I've faded Lawler for 3-4 fights in a row now at least but even money against RDA is crazy at 170.

What's wrong with Glover's chin? He's only been Knocked Out by Rumble who could KO an elephant and Gustafsson after taking a ton of damage. If anyone has a bad chin in this fight it's Cirkunov who went down to a baby punch from Oezdemir.

He could win a Robbie Lawler type decision based on having big moments and Knockdowns rather than lots of volume. KO is definitely Perry's best path to victory as it has been in all of his wins so far.

It's just hard to imagine since Ponzi will surely be the higher volume guy. I think Ponzi can find some success with leg kicks too. Perry is going to need to drag him into his kind of fight.

The thing about Ponz is that he never mixes up his targets. In the Taleb fight he threw 92% of strike attempts at the head. In the Cummings fight, he threw 89% to the head. Fighting Perry with that kind of gameplan is like fighting John Lineker with a headhunting approach. I think Perry can force a brawl for sure. Add to that Ponz's tendency to get clipped and dropped and I think Perry has a great shot to finish this fight.

I also love Perry's clinch game and I think he could force a battle in tight. Picking a bunch of underdogs outright so this is going to be a very interesting card.
