#114jibby trying to make UFC the least professional sport in the sports realm
take fights when your opponent misses weight by 5lbs , which at 125lbs is almost a full weight class up
would have every judge fired for "bad decisions"
and 10 point deduction for counter strikingComment -

#116I hope FOX mentions the 2,000 amount...... Thats embarrassing to even mention that small amount of $ while also acting like the biggest most badass fight league around....the octagon is surrounded by media covering this fight that make more than 2K a week.. JOKEComment -

#121How is Marquez’s defense? He seems sloppy at times. Risk of getting KOed himself?Comment -

I think we will find out a lot about Bofando in this fight. I think he could potentially outstrike Laprise over 3 rounds, but to get that decision in Canada will be tough.
Who do you guys think holds the advantage in the clinch? Bofando has always looked strong, athletic, and had good balance in the clinch but I admit he's faced some poor competition. Laprise hasn't implemented much of a TD game of late and he did just move up a weight class.Comment -

#125Hopefully it does not end up in some odd split decision.....I don't don't see Laprise fearing his striking much and walking forward.....could bofando dance his way to a 3 round decision.....sure....do you think bofando has a chance to end this fight? I don't...but this will easily be the toughest person bofando has ever faced....Do you think Laprise will land often on Bofando? He has not had to close the distance at all in his past 3 fights because he has had fighters that were willing to walk right into his range. Bofando will stay very far outside and will only enter on his terms. Laprise will need very fast counters to be able to land on Bofando when he comes forward, BUT Bofando protects his head very well by closing distance behind kicks. That counter right that Laprise landed to put away Gouti rushed in head first. Bofando doesn't do that.

I think that Laprise's path to victory is to constantly march forward and make Bofando move constantly and use so much physical and mental energy reacting that he wears down. To win the striking I think Laprise needs to be in the pocket but to this point in his career Bofando makes sure there literally is no pocket when you fight him. He stays so far outside and if you really force the issue and come forward you end up in the clinch. That's why I think the clinch game could play a large role. That may be Laprise's way to slow down Bofando and wear him out.Comment -

#127Man, if the odds get too crazy in favor of Ngannou, I'm betting Stipe. Dude has a well rounded game, crisp striking and a fukking chin.Comment -

I bet Overeem in that fight because he was by far the most technical and savvy striker that Ngannou had faced but if you don't give Ngannou's power the credit it deserves after seeing that then I donno what you watched.Comment -

#133Ngannou hits any human on planet earth in the chin its night night
his technique is funky and hes still fairly green which is scary
stipe will want to stick and move , pepper him with lighter shots and probably bring it into the later rounds for a finish
but if Ngannou hits you once its done, this isnt a fight you go big on either sideComment -

#140I'm gonna spend some time on this one today but I think I agree. Seems like two guys moving in opposite directions. This may be the time to fade Lawlor before he becomes permanent fade material, and get on RDA before everyone admits he's legit here at 170.Comment
