Not so sure Jibbs... Chiesa is super tough and he was just slightly sideways in that choke once Lee readjusted the grip. It was close, but the round was winding down too... Yamasaki messed that up big time.

Lost $500 on that. I was expecting Lee to win the first couple rounds and then fade. Pretty livid that he stopped the fight, but that's life.

Also, as a BJJ guy, I don't think Chiesa was going out there. The left side of his neck was not being squeezed hard enough to put him out.

Dead on. Lee was dominating but that does not mean he was going to be able to keep doing that if Chiesa could drag the fight later. And the choke, I agree... Chiesa was just slightly sideways. There was a chance he gets through that. Obviously also a very good chance Lee puts him to sleep, but screw Yamasaki for not letting this fight have a real, final ending.

Shag Chiesa wasn't even fighting the hands and Chiesa's hands were ready to tap and floating.... That choke was under the chin and the body triangle was in as well..

Watch it closely as I even think the ref made the right call... I don't care what everyone is saying on the UFC panel.. That choke was deep and Chiesa was a second or two away from tapping or going out..

I know my money was on Lee but I'm not being Bias here.. I'll call it as I see it win or lose..

Chiesa was done.. Ref could have let him go out though..
