Also don't forget Fabio Maldonado had Fedor essentially beat....the ref could have stepped in at anytime IMO

Oh he could've absolutely stopped it. Fight should've been a draw, IMO. But, Fabio is a way better boxer than either of the out of shape bums that Meathead has recently beat.

IDK about that? Silva has gotten rocked early in fights before, he seems to do better as the fight goes on these days, with that being said Brunson goes for it, is aggressive and hits very hard.. The KO probably comes early or not at all with that being said....

13 seconds is quick though even for a slugger like Brunson..

Flabio Maldocrapo is a can. Fedor should have slaughtered him if he had anything left IMO..

If Meat doesn't fight like a total cautious tard he can beat old Fador me tinks.... There will be decent size difference as well.. Meat Head has a pretty good chin even though he's a border line can himself.. Gotta go with the younger fighter...

Our definition of can is very different. Meathead is an average HW and Fabio has really only lost to pretty solid competition. I'm not saying either of them are great by any means, but I'd say their far from being cans.

My definition of a can is someone that steps in the cage and probably loses to all UFC fighters in that division and are just surviving now in Bellator barely.. Flabio, Fedor and Meathead are all flirting with that can status.. Maybe not full blown cans just yet.. My bad..

Would be surprised to see Khabib get the finish. Ferguson is a WAYYY better grappler offensively and defensively than someone like Michael Johnson

early thoughts khabib wins the first round or 2 with his top game but ferguson stays calm and doesnt get into any major trouble, i see him coming on late and possibly getting a round 4 finish... gonna watch some more tape but i think ferguson will win this one in a hard fought battle, his cardio is top notch and he wont give up in any position he has the superior striking and if he can keep it on the feet for long enough he should be able to tag khabib , super interesting fight though

Could be FOTY. I agree that Nurmy gets takedowns late but Ferguson gets a late finish or split decision

agree , i think ferguson will try some weird stuff first round to keep khabib guessing, if khabib tries to stand up for a couple minutes to start the fight hell start to get tagged then start shooting takedowns, ferguson has amazing scrambles and chokes so hell always be threatening he wont just lay down and let khabib stiffle/smother him... 25 minutes is a long time especially for khabib whos been injured a ton, i think ferguson gets a late finish here but i could see it going to decision...

hoping ferguson takes this though he has more skills imo , the most well rounded 55er on the planet for me , been pumped for this fight for a while now gonna be wild

I love Tony, but Khabib can and will take him down, just like he does versus everybody else. He also throws absolute bombs when in top position. All you hear about is how freakishly strong the guy is. I think if Tony wins it'll be from catching a choke while getting taken down...

Prob my 2 fav fighters.....hate to see a "L" for either without a belt......Nurgamedov will win a decision....actually could be a "boring " fight imo...

Don't think Khabib will be able to hold him down for 25. I see him getting exhausted in the later rounds and getting finished. If it goes the distance, I could see a split either way.

Agreed, don't think it's even possible for Ferg to be in a boring fight .. especially 25 minutes long this fights gonna be a thing of beauty

I think Hendricks by decision could be a good play. So hard because both guys had HORRIBLE cardio at 170 but Hendricks is easily the more technical fighter. At 185, my worry is that Lombard can go wrecking ball for more than 1 round which definitely beats Johnny more than likely.

terrible matchmaking.... the UFC is doing some extremely suspect moves since the purchase
almost getting scared ufc is turning into WWE or will slowly go downhill and not become the orginization that has all the top fighters

supposedly not negotiating with mischa circunov either a top 205 prospect in a super shallow division another sign of stupidity

then give cub swanson a vet that just had a legendary fight some bum smh, shouldve got a top notch guy like top 10 material

at least its a main event but still dont understand it , hope the UFC starts stepping up not impressed with the moves theyre making lately whatsoever
