#319When it comes to making money, my feelings for fighters aren't even on my mind, the majority of this card, I have money against guys I love to root for, I'm betting against my favorites in Matt brown and Robbie lawler, and I'm betting against thatch who I also love to watch. I'm betting against swick even though I want him to win, as you see, feelings don't cloud my judgement. Mendes is just a perfect matchup against McGregor, he has a very slim punchers chance and that is all.Originally posted by shabangThe problem with conor is that he has that 'all in' attitude.. like there isn't even an option of losing to people, not getting the belt etc etc .. So what happens if he loses against mendes tomorrow night? I mean, how can there really be "another run"? He'll be exposed, he won't get to fight aldo, etc. How can you not be embarrassed? How can you still talk after that and expect anybody to take you seriously? I mean, in my mind, him losing is absolutely huge just because thats what he has set himself up for. He has created this perfect mcgregor world and in that world he is the best, he does not lose, ever. It's not even an option. Not by a long shot. That's what is crazy. So what if he loses? What does he say after all that's been said?
This is why I bet on mcmuffin. His confidence. I've hedged a tiny bit with mendes since, and tempted to do it again tomorrow during the fights but, penetrate..wishing i would've stayed away from this one as it seems im just wasting money now since It seems like a coin toss at this point..it will be clear as fuk tomorrow though.
Can he stop the takdown or not..the more important question is can he get up when mendes takes him down. If he can spring right up then he'll be ok. If not, he is seriously fuked and he will know it probably right away. So I can't wait.
I feel like mendes will win and I will lose my money...especially after mcmuffin looked after the weigh ins, sheeeit..those lips were dry and white as fuk..Looked bad..He's def cutting too much weight and it doesn't look healthy..on the other hand, chad looked good and was energetic. Chad will be quicker, is anybody doubting this? I'm thinking he can hold him down and wrestle him but, we'll see.Comment -

#320Thinking Dennis Bermudez is a lock after Lil Heathen missed weight.. Dennis was probably gonna win this fight anyways, but now he's facing a drained and dejected fighter for sure in Jeremy Stephens... Jeremy looked like he was ready to cry standing on the scale at weigh ins..
All over Dennis Bermudez at -210.. Parlay that one up fellas it's golden or just play it straight.....

#325Great breakdown, as seen in this breakdown, Conors grappling is also better than Chads, mendes stays in guard, connor passes with ease, chads finished if he ends up on bottom in a scramble. Chad only has his overhand right, thats his one hope here. as seen in the brimage fight, conor is naturally a better counter striker, he uses pressure and kicks to force guys to come back at him so he can counter, he will have no problem getting chad to move forward in this one, chad is tailor-made for Connors style.Originally posted by fitguy67Comment -

All the great champions have that unshakable self belief in themselves, the mind is one of the most powerful tools we have, and he's in Chads head, you can see it in chads fake smile at the weigh-ins, he believes everything Conor says, but even more important than that, Conor Believes everything Conor Says. regardless of how the first round goes, Conors confidents will still be intact going into the 2nd, you can't say that about Mendes, he will be broken if plan A fails to go as he expected it to, becuase Conor has eaten away at his mind in just 2 weeks. he broke aldo before the fight even started, aldo posted on twitter a picture of a old rib injury dana says, aldo was simply broken, and it only took 2 weeks to get chad into that same mind-set. It's a good fighter with a weak mind going against a outstanding fighter with a outstanding mind, there's no contest. Conor puts the artist in mixed martial arts, and he does it inside and outside of the cage. The art of war starts in the mind, one expects victory and the other is hoping for it, only one of these guys can be broken after the first round.Comment -

#333Who do you pick in this first fight?
Last few events the dogs have been winning to start tings off.. Just saying.. Cedeno is probably the logical play but I think it will be a close fight regardless so I'm gonna take an early stab at a dog play and go with the American Cody Pfister at +170..
This early prelim stuff is tough to call IMO.... Playing the first 2 fights kinda small.. Going with Smolka as well...Comment -

#334beside the 2 favorites at the top, I expect it to be a underdog heavy event for the most part, I have a hunch Cody pfister takes it, only because the underdog wins almost everytime to start the cards for whatever reason, like u mentioned, and there demeniors at the weight in, I'm not playing the hunch tho, I honestly don't know either guy and didn't bother looking them up as there's so much good action through out the card.Originally posted by JIBBBYWho do you pick in this first fight?

Good job BIGDAY on nailing down the Chad Mendes line at +170.. That is some great timing right there on when to pull the trigger and place.
I'm still sitting on the sidelines and now hoping it jumps back up to atleast +160 right before fight start...Comment -

I'd say good luck but I'm on the opposite side of the fence with this play bud. Mini Mendes gets the belt..
